Chapter 8 - "Yeji's Heart"

[Wednesday / Author's Pov]
The two (Y/N and Yeji) were walking back to the bus station, Y/N was humming while Yeji was quietly walking back not saying a word. As they were walking to the bus stop, light rain started to fall from the sky, and the light rain slowly turned into heavy rain. Yeji stopped walking and looked up at the sky, Y/N kept walking but stopped after noticing Yeji wasn't walking. "It's raining," Yeji says as she lifts her hand in the air

"And... are you just going to stand there getting wet?" Y/N asks Yeji. Yeji doesn't respond and continues looking up, making herself wet. Y/N sighs and grabs Yeji's hand and drags her towards the closest shelter. 

Yeji was thinking about something else until she felt her hand being grabbed by Y/N's, she froze in her spot, not moving."O he just grabbed my hand. STAY CLAM. HOW CAN I STAY CALM WHEN MY HEART IS BEATING LIKE CRAZY! wait... my heart is beating... why is my heart beating...?" 

"Wait here," Y/N says as he points to a stop under the shelter.

Lia finally lays down on her bed (A/N:  Don't ask where she came from) She looks over at her clock "10.PM... Y/N's probably back. I should call him" Lia opens her phone and dials Y/N's number. The phone rings for a while until it goes over to voicemail, Lia's face becomes disappointed "He's probably busy right now. I shouldn't disrupt him"  Lia says to herself as she puts away her phone

Y/N walked into a convenience store and grabbed an umbrella and walks over to the cashier. Y/N felt a little vibration in his pocket but doesn't pick up the phone. He rushes back to where Yeji was waiting for him. 

"Took you a while" Yeji responds as she taps her feet

"Sorry, let's go before we miss the bus," Y/N says and he opens the umbrella up, Y/N holds the umbrella for Yeji and himself. Yeji hesitates to walk alongside Y/N but later walks along with him. As they were walking to the bus stop, Y/N looks over at Yeji and sees a tint of redness on her checks but decides not to mention it. 

Y/N and Yeji and the bus arrive at the bus station at the same time,  Yeji steps inside the bus but Y/N doesn't go inside the bus. "Aren't you going to get on?" Yeji asks Y/N

"I would, but it's not my bus. This bus doesn't go to my home" Yeji doesn't respond she just stares blankly at Y/N "So then I guess, this is our goodbye for the day" 

"Hu-huhyeahyeah" Yeji responds after shaking her head. The bus driver closes the door and starts moving. Yeji looks out from the window as the bus drives off looking back at Y/N who was waving at Yeji.

Y/N gets inside his bus and walks to the back of the bus where he sits down. *Ding* Y/N pulls out his phone as he gets a notification, and opens it.

Umbrella

Y/N's face slowly turns into a frown as he looks up, and leans on the window as he sighs "Family... Money... Job..." Y/N sighs

After waiting for his bus stop for an hour, the bus finally pulls over at his stop. Y/N walks out of the bus and walks towards the place he is currently living in. Y/N quietly opens the door to the house and quietly walks in. Y/N trying not to make a sound walks into the living room to find Jongkook, and Daniel both laying down on the couch eating chips and playing 2K21 on their PS5 Y/N looks at his watch, 11:30 pm. "Ahem" Daniel and Jungkook both look over at the door to find Y/N glaring at them. 

 "Wassuppppp-" Daniel and Jungkook reply. Y/N rolls his eyes 

"I'll go to sleep now, Night," Y/N says as he walks up to his room. Daniel and Jungkook ignore him and continue playing their game. 

[Friday] 
After what seemed a long week, it was finally Friday. Still, a week and a half left until their Y/N and Hyunjin can go to school. Friday is either considered to be the best day or the worst day for many students. Why? Because all the 'popular' students would be throwing parties at their home and others would be going to tutors because of their evil Asian parents. (Grrrr)

Today was Friday, meaning that it was a half-day. Lia being done with school texted Y/N if he wanted to each lunch with her since she didn't have plans for the rest of the afternoon. 

Lia: Hello~

Y/N: Hi

Lia: I'm done school, I have nothing else to do today... wanna go grab lunch? 

Y/N: Sure, where do you want to go?

Lia: I don't want to go somewhere too far... Lia looks across the school to find 'Subway' I actually feel like eating subway now... Are you fine with that? 

Y/N: I'm fine with whatever so the subway is fine

Lia: Okay, come to the one near our school

Y/N walks inside the store to find Lia already inside the store at a table. Y/N quietly walks up to Lia who was on her phone and scares her. "BOO" She screams as loud as she possibly can and she lets go of her phone. Luckily the phone came right into Y/N's grasp allowing him to catch it. 

Lia slaps Y/N in the shoulder "DON'T DO THAT AGAIN" She shouts towards Y/N but Y/N continues laughing. "I'm not talking to you anymore" She snatches her phone from Y/N and crosses her arm and looks away from him. 

"wAiT nOoO" Y/N faces the way Lia is looking towards 

"Lia, don't ignore me. It was just for fun" Lia still doesn't respond to Y/N's reply. "Fine then, I'll pay for lunch then. Does this make you feel better?" Lia looks towards Y/N and nods her head.

[After Lunch]
Lia gets up from her chair making Y/N also stand up from his chair surprised. "I'll go wash my hands," Lia says to Y/N

"Oh okay," Y/N relaxes as he sits back down on his chair. After a few minutes since Lia left, a group of girls come up to Y/N

"Hey there"

"Uh... Do I know you guys?" Y/n asks

"No... But you will later"

"What do you mean?"

"We're hosting a party at our house later tonight, you should come"

"Haha... No, I'm fine, I don't go to parties"

They give Y/N a card with the information he needs to know about the party, and the group of girls smirk and walks away giving a flying kiss to Y/N.

Right after they left, Lia comes up to Y/N and that he's holding something in his hand. "What's that?" Lia questions Y/N. Y/N quickly hides the card inside his pocket 

"I-Its n-nothing" Lia gives a glare towards Y/N.
