"Dude... What... The hell... happened?" Mike muttered slowly in disbelief. Him and Dustin were eventually standing in front of Dustin's messed up working table, looking at the completely destroyed machine from what looked like it was exploded from too much power in their garage where they just left it running.

"Like I was about to explain it to you, dude!" Dustin exclaimed excitedly, though the voice was too loud for mike that made him jumped a bit.

"Calm down dude. I'm just beside you." Mike reminded.

"Sorry... I just..." Then, "Just hear me out, dude!" That even made Mike poked his one ear, "Question! What time did we hear the explosion outside??" Mike rolled his eyes, thinking broadly, still his ear poked,

"Uhm... about 10:30? I just saw it on your watch before I saw the machine running..." He explained, though shrugging.

"So, then, that was the time we went outside to check and just witnessed where the hole appeared, right??"

"Yeah... So?" Mike said wearily,

"So, it was appeared and also took longer until we get there, then, the moment it disappeared right before our eyes, MOM CALLED ME!"

"So... you're saying..."

"MY MOM WITNESSED IT EXPLODE BEFORE SHE ENTERED HERE LATELY! AND THAT WAS THE SAME TIME THE HOLE DISAPPEARED!" This time, Dustin was yelling at Mike, who just looked like wanted to get out.

"You're telling me that-"

"WE JUST CREATED A TELEPORTAL MACHINE!!" Dustin exclaimed excitedly, almost jumped.

"Tele... what??" Mike seemed completely puzzled as he glared at him.

Dustin was searching for something from his back pocket of his jeans recklessly, revealing some kind of a mini book, which Mike and Lucas had been anxiously wanted to ask him about and recklessly flipping its several pages, then abruptly slammed it on top of the working table, revealing the last page,

"Teleportal Machine, Dude!" Dustin repeated, pointing with his finger at the page where it revealed an illustration of Physics-like instruction and then a drawing of a black hole, like what they just saw, right beneath it. Mike blinked several times, trying to compose himself from what he had just witnessed with all of this, and then turned to face Dustin, with his very serious face. Dustin was looking at him in amazement, but quite terrified,

"Dustin. Dude... “ Mike said, quite drawled,

“Yeah...?” Dustin answered quietly, still in awe,

“My Best Friend... Or one of my bestest friends...”

“Aha...?”

“Since Will wasn't here now... Lucas is with Max... for a mean time...”

“Yeah...?”

“On behalf of The Party...”

“Of course...?” Dustin squeaked softly, and then cleared his throat,

“We love you that much, dude..." Mike said as he put his both hands on Dustin's shoulders,

"Yeah, I love you too, Dude..." Dustin said, quite stuttered. Mike eventually sighed deeply, and then,

"May I ask one question, and might not asking it again in the future, since not knowing if we're still here or not anymore... uhm..." Then, he suddenly grabbed Dustin's collar once again, "Where. Did you. Get that. Book?!" Mike hissed, finishing his speech without breathing, fighting the urge from getting hysterical. Dustin paused for a moment, thinking how he could answer that simple question like an idiot, but then,

"Uhm, can we just... Grab a bite first?" Dustin suggested, almost squeaked. Then he grinned sheepishly.

“DUSTIN!” His mom yelled, who’s coming from the kitchen, the boys jumped a bit, “ONCE I RECEIVED THE ELECTRIC BILL AND IT’LL COST ME, YOU’LL BE GROUNDED FOR A MONTH!” She drawled, which made Dustin screwed his face, “AND NO COMPUTER!” His mom followed. Dustin slowly faced Mike, whose face changed from frustrated to a concerned look, slowly letting go of his grip on Dustin’s collar, hand against his chin, thinking broadly,

“Looks like we won’t be able to continue the project here, dude...” Dustin just concluded with a defeated sound of his voice. Mike just nodded.
