Julia was tired and needed to rest. She sat down and on the cold sidewalk and put her back up agents a freezing cold brick wall.

Still crying she leaned her head on the wall and closed her eyes. "Maybe I will find my way home tomorrow when there's more light" she said quietly to herself.

When Julia opened her eyes again it was morning and sunny. At first Julia wonderd how she had ended up on the side walk, but then all the memories of last night came flooding back into her head like a tsunami.

She stood up and walk to the direction of witch she thought was the way that led her to her house but that was the wrong way. She walked about for about 2 more minutes and then she figured this was defiantly the wrong way.

She still wasn't sure about where she was and she still wanted to go home desperately.

Back at home her mom and dad had woke up. Gina was at her friends house having a sleepover, and would not know her sister was missing until she got home.

Her mom and dad woke up and saw the note.

Her mom read it aloud to her husband her moms trembling hands dropped the note and fell to her knees. Her dad crumpled the note and threw it in the waste basket.

They both ran to Julia's room to see if she was just playing a prank, but Julia's bed was empty and the sheets were rumpled where Julia last had slept.
