Carter's outfit
**********
Carter's POV-
"Wear nice clothes Carter. Also, Ezra's bringing his nephew along. You might know him." Mom said as the time for Ezra to come for dinner neared. "ok. I'm going to change now." I said and walked up to my room. I walked towards my closet and started picking out a good outfit.
I picked out a beige sweater and black skinny ripped jeans with black boots. I brushed my hair into a bun with a few strands of hair framing my face. I put on my lip balm and walked downstairs. "Hiya mother!" I said walking towards my mother who was in the kitchen. "You look dashing my lady." I said in a British accent.
"Why thank you kind lady." She replied playing along. We laughed and mom went back to chopping up veggies for the salad. I walked back up and made my way to Mason's room. I knocked and opened the door to see him combing his hair. "You take more care of your hair than an average girl does." "That rhymed." Mason pointed out completely ignoring what I just said. I shook my head and sat down on his bed.
"Mom said Ezra's nephew was coming." I told my brother. "Really? That's cool." He said. "Yeah." Once Mason had finished styling his hair we went downstairs and saw mom and dad setting the table.
Mason and I helped them and had just finished setting the table when the bell rang. "Open the door Carter." Mom said. I nodded and walked towards the front door and opened it. "You have got to be kidding me." I said in disbelief. I was not ready for this.
