Chapter 2

MARINETTE'S POV

I walked into the classroom while dragging Alya, I led her to our seats and let go of her as we sat down.

"Why did you do that?" She whined.

"Really? She was clearly lying in case you didn't notice,"

"So you're some kind of 'lie expert'. I mean this time she wasn't even hitting on Adrien,"

"I mean, if she knew Lolirock, before they even became Lolirock, don't you think that Lolirock will dedicate their first song to her. Why their latest single, I'll tell you, it's because she doesn't know LOLIROCK,"

"Quiet class, settle down," Ms. Bustier said as she walked into the classroom, with Adrien and Nino following closely behind her.

They took their seats in front of Alya and me. Before taking his seat, Adrien smiles at me and I feel the butterflies in my stomach go crazy.

I give him a weak a smile before mentally fainting. I didn't even realise how fast the day went, until school was over.

"Marinette, Marinette," Alya snapped her fingers in front of me, bringing me back to reality, "Gurl, I feel like I've been dragging you around all day."

"Adrien smiled at me," I said dreamily.

"So, he smiles at you everyday,"

"I mean, he turned around to smile at me,"

"Whatever gurl, I'm not dragging you home,"

"Bye Alya,"

"Bye, gurl,"

"Mama, Papa I'm back," I said as I walked into the living room.

"Hello Marinette," My mom came out of the kitchen, wiping her hands, "How was school dear?"

"It was good, but I'm really tired. So I'm going upstairs..."

"But you just got back..."

"Oh Sabine," my dad said coming out of the kitchen, "Let her go upstairs and rest. To be a good baker, you need to be well rested,"

"But Tom..."

"Now Sabine, come help in the kitchen,"

"Thanks dad," I yell as I run upstairs and close my trap door. Tikki flies out of my purse as I face planted on my bed.

"Marinette, I'm so proud of you,"

I was so confused, "For what?"

"You barely stuttered in front of Adrien today,"

I remember when he sat with me, when he held my wrist and when he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"You had a proper conversation with him," Tikki continued.

"Tikki you're right, I guess I was so annoyed about Lila, I didn't realise I was talking to my crush.

Tikki flew towards me and hugged my cheek, as we broke into a fit of giggles.

I freshened up and had a change and had a change of clothes. I sat on my chair and logged into my computer.

"Marinette, what are you doing?" Tikki flew over to me.

"Time to find out who they really are," I mutter to myself. I typed Lolirock into my computer. "Tikki, check out the results..."

"Lolirock: Revolution; Lolirock: Higher..." Tikki read as I scrolled through it. "That's it, that's the song Lila was talking about. Lolirock: Never Give Up."
