MARINETTE'S POV

"Ok," Alya said once I closed my trapdoor, "You, use your laptop and I'll use my phone. Hurry, for all we know tickets must be sold out already."

I sat on my chair and Alya sat on my bed. I logged into my computer and went to the site, I clicked on buy and let out a sigh of relief.

"Done." I spun my cheer around to see her.

"Great gurl," She gave me a high five, "Now all we need to do is wait." She stared at her phone and I turned to my laptop and waited.

Twenty minutes later, we still didn't get any notification, and Alya was pacing around my room, checking her phone every two seconds. "Why haven't we seen anything?" Alya complained.

"Alya, calm down. I'm sure we'll receive it soon. In the meantime..."

"What if they ignored our request? What if they're sold out? What if..." Then we heard two beeps. I turned to my laptop and Alya looked at her phone.

"I got a ticket," I heard her say, "We can go together now..."

"They're sold out," I mutter.

"Huh, what do you mean sold out, they can't be sold out..." She reads over my shoulder and gasps.

"They're sold out." I speak louder.

"Sorry gurl," She pulls me into a hug, "You know what, if you're not going, I'm not going..."

I break the hug and look her in the eyes, or glasses, "You have to go."

"No, I'm not going. I'll simply tell the girls not to wait up for me,"

"Alya, you need to go."

"I'm not going without you,"

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine,"

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'll simply watch it here. By the way, you're their biggest fan, you deserve to go." I force a smile. She pulls me into a big bear hug.

"I love you gurl. You know that right,"

"I know," I giggle.

"Bye gurl," she lets go of me and runs down the stairs. I waved at her and close the trapdoor.

At the sound of the trapdoor closing, Tikki pops out and heads straight for me.

"Marinette, what's wrong with you?" She stops just in front of me.

"Tikki what do you mean?"

"You know what I mean, you could have gotten yourself killed. Why didn't you look both ways?"

I finally understood what she meant. But, it happened this morning, so I guess she's planned everything she wants to say. "Tikki, I'm fine,"

"Don't you dare tell that to me. Just because it worked on Adrien, doesn't mean it will work on me." She crossed her arms and turned away from me.

Wow, did I really say that to him. "Exactly, Adrien saved me," I said as a matter-of- fact.

Tikki flew to me and hugged my cheek, "Marinette, what if he wasn't there, what would've happened to you?"

I suddenly realized her fear, "But he was there, Tikki, and thanks to him, I'm safe," I scoop her into my arms and give her my best smile.

"Marinette, she sniffed, "Please, be careful, I don't want anything to happen to you,"

"And nothing will. I promise," She smiles at me.

"So, how was it like getting saved by Adrien?"
