Almost a kiss

~After le dream~

I woke up and saw Sebastian sitting right beside me, his soft raven black hair in front of his amazing wine red eyes. I felt my eyes begin to sting, and next thing I know, I was clinging to Sebastian, sobbing.

I was surprised when he held me in his arms. He was so warm and I almost swore I could hear his heart beating.. Has he always had a heartbeat or is this new?

"Are you alright, My Lord?" He asks putting a finger under my chin and lifting my face up so we could see each others faces.

I nod and turn away, wiping my face. I felt so weak, crying in front of him like that. What has gotten into me? I have been acting strange like this for a while.. maybe..

No, Ciel,  that was a dream.. it's not like it will happen, ever..

I look back up to se Sebastian smiling with his eyes closed, which was so adorable to me- what? No, stop it Ciel.

"If that will be all, My Lord, I will go check on dinner now." He got up and bowed at the waist before turning to leave.

"Wait, Sebastian." I said grabbing the sleeve of his tail coat to see him turn around and kneel in front of me, holding the hand that grabbed his sleeve.

I blushed and looked in his crimson eyes. "Promise you won't leave my side, like in my dream?"

"Of course, My Lord, I'll be by your side until the end." He smiled and actual smile, not a smirk, or one of those random smile-to-make-someone-feel-better smiles.. but like he wanted to..

No, Ciel do not do it! I noticed I began to lean forward towards his beautiful face, and.. he was leaning too? Our lips almost touched when..

"CIIEEEELLL!!" Elizabeth bursts through the door.

I look back to Sebastian and it looked as if nothing happened between us.

When I look back at Elizabeth, she's already choking me.

"ELI-ZABETH! I.. CAN'T... BREATHE.." I tried to yell, but it came out as a very loud whisper. She squeezed me tighter, then let go.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU!! CALL ME LIZZY!!" She screamed in my ear.. I swear I just went def.

Sebastian chuckled and stared into my eyes, giving me the signal my eyepatch was off. I panicked and hoped she didn't see it. I looked around for it, then before I could get to it, Elizabeth pulled me out of my room and into the ballroom, so I kept my eye shut, hoping she wouldn't notice.

"Ooo!! Ciel, we should have a ball!!" She squealed.

"No, no balls, you know how I hate them, and I'm also on a case for Her Majesty" I lied, giving my famous cold look.

"But Ciiieellllll!!!" She whined.

" I said no Elizabeth!" I snapped, and of course she started crying, and I sighed. "But I guess you can stay for dinner.." I said, knowing I would regret it later.

"O-okay." She sniffed.

"It isn't proper for a lady to cry when she can't get her way." I said, wiping her tears off with a handkerchief.

After her little scene, she went up to Sebastian and put bows in his hair. I nearly died of laughter. Yes, Ciel Phantomhive laughed for the first time in forever.

Then Sebastian then came behind me and tied my eyepatch around my eye so I wouldn't have trouble hiding it anymore, he gave me a glare when I started laughing at him, but it didn't last. He started laughing as well.

~Sebastian's P.O.V.~

I chuckled at Lady Elizabeth and my young masters conversations, considering he would not let me leave him alone in a room with Lady Elizabeth for to long.

After dinner was over, Lady Elizabeth was about to return home, when my master walked her to the carrage, she kissed My young master on the lips. Of course he did not kiss her back, but it made something boil inside of me. Am I jealous? No, that's preposterous. Even if I was, why would I be?

"Ugh, I swear, she gets more annoying each time I see her." My master says as he walks past me, and towards his study. "I'll take my dessert in my study." He said before giving his usual cold stare.

I smirked and bowed with my hand over my 'heart'. "Of course, My Lord." I responded before turning to the kitchen to put his dessert and tea on the tray before rolling it up the stairs to his study and knocking twice.

"Enter." He said.

I opened the door and pushed the tea cart in, seeing his face turn a bit pink when I smirked at him.

~Ciel's P.O.V. ~

I returned to my study after Elizabeth's visit, to get away from Sebastian. Ever since earlier in the day, I could not stop thinking about him. He's just so... perfect.. his soft black hair, his crimson eyes, he smile, hell.. he's perfect from head to toe..

What the hell Ciel, get over it.. even if you do love him,  he can't love you back, he's a demon.

Then I heard a knock. "Enter." I said as Sebastian walked in and smirked. My face started to flush a little pink, then I laughed once more, seeing he forgot to take the ribbons and bows out of his hair.

"May I ask what is so funny my lord?" He asked, tilting his head a bit.

I motioned for him to come forward, which he did.

"Sit down for a minute. " I said, trying not to laugh anymore.

He did as he was told and sat down. I walked over to him and tired to figure out how to take them out, and failed. Then I really couldn't stop laughing.

He managed to take them out himself after I pointed out where they were. He was also laughing,  and hearing him laugh, since it was a real laugh, made me laugh harder.

"This is the first time I've seen you smile in a very long time, sir." He said, giving his adorable smile again.

"Well, I.. umm.." I started blushing. His laugh was so... perfect.. like the rest of him..

~Nobody's P.O.V. ~

Ciel sat at his desk, going over all the perfect things about the demon in front of him. Little did he know, this demon was doing the same.

His laugh, it is so unique and music to my ears.. his smile is so beautiful, just like the rest of him.. truly a wonderful, different person.
