It was the start of a reign on that fateful date,

The start of a reign of tyranny and hate,

That day in January 1933,

The start of Hitler's hierarchy.

Germania, the vision flies,

Supporting numbers raising high,

The relocation of the Jews,

Began so the plan was carried through.

Berlin was indeed soon to be,

World capital and so you see,

Ghettos became a simple whim,

The outlook for Jews looking slim.

Not long after came the camps,

Many systems were revamped,

Criminals, Jews, Prisoners of War,

Were chucked behind a locked door.

Thus began a time of death,

As simple as the winds breath,

Terror whipped and wound its way,

Through everyone who outlived their stay.
