"mom isn't home yet, you can stay." i told donghyuck as we got home.

"wow, i've never been in here even though we used to be friends for like how many years back then?" he said looking around, it's actually kinda small since it's just me and mom living in there.

"aren't we friends?" i asked while taking off my neck tie.

i just saw him laughing a little, shaking his head, also taking off his cap and face mask then leaving his uniform open, "i'm not staying, i'll just wait for mark till he get home, it won't take him a while." he said.

"sure." sighing, i took off my uniform, getting inside my room to get changed into a plain black t-shirt, "oh shit-" i jolted when donghyuck got inside, i was completely topless!

"not my fault, you did not closed the door, isn't that an invitation?" he was smirking then dropping himself comfy on my bed.

"what do you mean??" i raised an eyebrow, finally getting dressed.

he ignored my question, doing something on his phone so i just kept silent while cleaning some trash in my room.

"you said you didn't stalked me but what were you doing back then? near our apartment building?" he asked out of the blue.

i looked at him in confusion.

"you were riding a bike, i don't know if you intentionally hit me or what. also the time you ran after me on a cafe. you even know where in hell i live and which school i go to." he stated, sitting as well, inches away from me.

"what? no! everything's a coincidence, i swear." i told him, "i didn't even knew it was you.. why were you being chased by a group of guys then? what did you do to them?"

"saw them beating a girl, they stole her purse, her phone and everything so i stole them back and gave it back to that girl then they started running after me." he said.

"where is he by the way?" i asked and he looked at me in confusion, "mark."

"oh, my 'father' is tracing him again, it always happens so he would just go anywhere far his apartment." he answered.

he never told me anything about his father though, i only know that he had another woman so donghyuck's mom decided to get divorced and end their connection.

but the thing that kept bothering me is that, "why do you live in the same apartment?"

he chuckled saying, "where do you expect me to live? he's my best friend."

of course he won't come to me, for him i was just a friend. he even pushed me away.

i stood up after some seconds of silence, "you can borrow my clothes if you want to, so you can get changed, do feel at home." i told him and stormed out of my room to see if we could have something to eat.

i'm hungry since i've just got an apple juice for lunch earlier. while preparing, donghyuck came out the room as well, hasn't changed into something at all.

"mark's going to pick me up in 2 hours or so, i don't need to change." he said then sat at the countertop, he was holding my robot toy since little and examining it.

i continued what i was doing and started making a meal.

"i remembered the time when you were trying to put his arms back using a duct tape and glue," he laughed while storytelling, "then you came to me crying because you couldn't fix it so we used glue gun, making me burn my fingertip."

everything came back in my head as he was saying those, sad to tell that i almost forgotten everything from back then and i was always wishing that he should be here with me and helping me regain my memories, and now it came true.

"then i put that finger inside my mouth thinking it would heal fast but instead i almost ate the glue stick that was left." i continued then laughing so hard.

we started sharing memories while i cook until his phone ringed. again i felt jealous because of mark, jealous because he is the one who's been with him all the time and the one he's calling a best friend.

"i'll be going, thanks for helping me." he wore his bag.

before he could even open the door to get out, i asked him, "hey, hyuck, can we be best friends again?"

"you're so childish, call me your boyfriend."
