Jennifer.

"I will excuse myself now." I said through gritted teeth standing up.

"No you will not." Liam retorted also getting up.

I rolled my eyes and walked out of the dining hall.

I don't know what I'm even feeling. It was so annoying when she kissed him but why exactly do I care? It's a go in, get out situation that I'm in. So why?

I massaged my temples.

This is soo frustrating.

I blame this on this stupid mate bond.

I don't want a mate. I don't want any of this.

Ugh.

LIAM.

( Don't keep your hopes up. It's short.)

Jennifer. I finally have her.

I finally have my mate with me.

And knowing that is just so satisfying.

But knowing that she would do everything to get away from her is so infuriating.

I want her with me so I will have her with me. No matter what!!!

She left. And wherever she goes I have to know.

She's mine. Mine.

MINE.

JENNIFER.

After a while of stomping around aimlessly.

I ended up in a kitchen.

And that works for me since I kinda just skipped breakfast.

"But this kitchen is massive, how do they get anything done in here?" I muttered to myself.

"Need some help." A voice called out.

Now who is it?! I mentally rolled my eyes.

I turned around to a burly figure. Needless to say he was hot. Is everyman in this palace so freaking eatable?! My mind going straight to Liam.

I did not just think that.

But he looked familiar. But me being me. I couldn't pinpoint.

"Hey I'm Reece." He said.

"Jennifer." I answered.

"I'm the beta around here." He said again.

Oh so that's how I know him. The guy that sat beside Liam.

"Do you want to get something to eat?" He said looking so charmingly friendly.

"Well I wanted to." I answered.

"So what changed your mind?" He asked again.

"For starters this place is massive. And then again this place is huge." I said.

He chuckled.

"I can help with that." He  offered.

"You? Help me?" I asked slowly blinking in disbelief.

"Yeah, why not?" He said.

"Thank you I guess." I said coking my head a bit.

"Oh please, it's a friendly gesture." He said walking past me.

I really wanted to open my mouth to say 'Friendly. Like when did we become friends?'

But I decided against it.
