The next day Jonathan and Elizabeth was just laying down in bed
Elizabeth: babe
Jonathan: yes baby
Elizabeth: when are you going to go back to school and get a job?
Jonathan: well speaking of School and Job I didn't tell you but this job accepted me so I'll be going to work tomorrow and then I just enrolled myself in school but school doesn't start until August so sorry for keeping that a secret I don't even know why I didn't tell you anyways that was stupid
Elizabeth: aww it's ok bae but I have to go to work tho so let me get up
*Elizabeth gets ready and goes to work*

At Martha and Raphael house:
Jamari is in bed sleep and he slowly wakes up and he smells breakfast. He gets out of bed and walks into the kitchen and he sees grandpa Raphael cooking breakfast.
Raphael: hey grandson
*Jamari yawns and stretches his arms out*
Jamari: hey grandad what are you cooking?
Raphael: bacon and grits
Jamari: yummy where is grandma?
*Raphael sighs*
Raphael: well um me and grandma had a little disagreement so she left
Jamari: is she coming back?
Raphael: I don't know but I can try to call her if you want me to
Jamari: yes please
Raphael: ok and here's your food
Jamari: thanks
*he goes and sits down and Raphael calls Martha*
Martha: WHAT DO YOU WANT RAPHAEL!
Raphael: look our grandson was asking about you and I told him we had a little disagreement and you
left. Anyways he wants to talk to you
Martha inner thoughts: why in the hell did Raphael tell him that? It's already bad enough he doesn't have a dad in his life and he looks at us like a family.  Even  though we are family but he looks at us like a family he never had. He sees us as his 2nd mom and dad and now he's probably going to question me
Martha: okay then let me talk to him
Raphael: alright
Raphael: your grandmother wants to talk to you Raphael says handing Jamari the phone
*Jamari grabs it*
Jamari: Hi grandma
Martha: Hi Jayjay what's grandma baby doing?
Jamari: eating breakfast.... where are you and why did you leave?
*Martha sighs*
Martha: that's a long story
Jamari: how? Did you and grandpa break up?
Martha: listen how about I come over there today and spend time with you?
Jamari: I'll love that but you didn't answer my question grandma
Martha inner thoughts: see what I'm saying? That's why I don't understand why Raphael told him that bs in the first place because Jamari is smart. And he's old enough to know what's going on. He's not just some kid you can tell anything and then they'll just mind their own business. Jamari is the type of kid that wants to know everything along with his little cousin Kaleb. I miss my grandson Kaleb so much. Can't wait to see him again.
Martha: look it's grown folks business baby aight? It's grown folks business now let me speak to your grandfather
Jamari: ok he says with sad voice and hands the phone to his grandpa
Raphael: Hello?
Martha: look I'll be over there at 3 and that's only to spend time with my grandson.
Raphael: ok fine
Martha: bye

And before Raphael could say anything Martha hung up. Raphael put his phone in his pocket and he looked up at Jamari. Jamari looked up at him with sad eyes and tears rolling down his face. Raphael walks over to Jamari and hugs him
Raphael: what's wrong? Raphael questioned
Jamari: you and grandma broke up! And I know y'all broke up! I can tell! And you and her was like my 2nd mom and dad! Y'all was like the family I always wanted but I know I never can get!
Raphael: we can still be like your 2nd mom and dad even if me and your grandma is not together
Jamari: NO YOU CAN'T! I DON'T WANT YOU TO BE LIKE MY 2ND DAD IF YOU AND GRANDMA IS NOT TOGETHER! BECAUSE IT'S JUST A BROKEN FAMILY, I WANT YOU TWO TO BE MY 2ND MOM AND DAD AND I WANT Y'ALL TOGETHER! THAT'S LIKE MY DREAM COME TRUE! BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET THAT FROM MY REAL PARENTS!!!!! SO PLEASE GET BACK WITH HER GRANDPA.... PLEASE !!! BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T MY LIFE IS RUINED !!!!!!!! EVERYTHING THAT I ALWAYS WISHED FOR AND DREAMED OF I CAN'T GET IT!!!!! He says with his voice cracking and he breaks down crying
Jamari: you know grandpa I would do anything just to have a family and see my real dad he says whipping his tears. Raphael was heartbroken, he then started to feel bad and regret cheating.
Raphael:Jayjay I'm sorry this is all my fault, I did something bad and broke your grandma's heart. And I don't think she will ever forgive me. He says with his eyes tearing up
Jamari: why don't u apologize?
Raphael: I don't think she will forgive me Jayjay, but for the sake of you I'll try to talk to her hopefully she takes me back. But don't worry ok? Finish up your food. He says and kisses his grandson forehead

4 hours later Raphael and Jayjay only had an hour left before Martha gets here. Raphael noticed that every since that phone call Jayjay has been acting like he's mad at him. And he's acting like he just doesn't want to be there anymore.
Raphael: Jayjay I said I was sorry u still mad at me?
Jamari: I don't want to talk about it
All of a sudden they both heard a knock at the door and Raphael stood up
Raphael: that's your mother *he opens the door*
Raphael: hey Mia he says giving her a hug
Mia: hey dad I just stopped by to see Jayjay
Raphael: come in
*Mia walks in the house and she notices that Jayjay looks mad*
Mia: hey baby
Jamari: Hi
Mia: Jamari baby what's wrong?
*Jamari eyes start to tear up*
Jamari: I just- I just wanna go home he says with tears rolling down his face
Mia looks back at her dad and gave him a death stare mixed with "what did you do to my child" stare
Jamari: I don't care.... I don't want to be here anymore.... I want to be with you or my Uncle Lu or somewhere besides here he says whipping his tears
Mia: well baby you can't go over Uncle Lu house until next month, now tell me what's wrong?
Jamari: grandad and grandma broke up
Raphael: Jayjay I said I was sorry and I said I was going to try to make it up to her
Mia: why did y'all break up? Dad what did you do?
Raphael: Jamari can you go in your room or somewhere so I can talk to your mother
*Jamari leaves*
*Raphael sighs*
Raphael: well you remember 3 years ago your mother got drunk and cheated on me?
Mia: yeah
Raphael: and you remember when I told her I forgave her and we got back together?
Mia: yes
Raphael: well the truth is I never forgave her I just said that to pick the perfect time to get my revenge
Mia: huh
Raphael: look I'm sorry aight she broke up with me because I revenged cheated and tbh (to be honest) I regret it, because not only did I hurt her, but I ended up hurting my grandson and that wasn't something I wanted to do....
Mia: you better hope she takes you back because if she's doesn't I'm getting my son. I trusted you with him and this kind of stuff isn't even good for him to be around it's not going to do anything but put more stress on him
Raphael: ok I'll try my best
Mia: let me know what she says
Raphael: ok
*Mia goes upstairs to find Jamari and she finds him sitting on the edge of the bed in his room*
Mia: hey Jamari baby it's going to be ok and I warned your grandad that if grandma doesn't take him back I will come and get you ok?
*Jamari looked at his mom with a smile on his face and he hugged her tightly*
Jamari: that's a deal he says
Mia: ok well I got to get going so see you later
Jamari: ok love u he says kissing her cheek
Mia: aww I see your learning how to be a gentleman already.... love u too my angel she says and kisses his cheek like he did her and then she left

1 hour later
Jamari: GRANDMA!!!!!! He says and runs into her arms
Martha: Hey Jayjay I missed you she says and places a kiss on his forehead
Jamari: I missed you too
Raphael: so what do u guys want to do?
Jamari: let's watch a movie
Raphael: what movie?
Jamari: ummm how about the spider man movie
Raphael: ok
They all sit down and watch the movie

4 hours later:
Raphael: Jayjay can you go in your room so I can talk to your grandmother please?
Martha: umm excuse me??
Raphael: what?
Martha: what do we possibly have to talk about?
Raphael: just let me talk to u please
Martha: I guess
Raphael: Jamari please go upstairs or something
Jamari: ok *he leaves and goes upstairs*
*Raphael tries to touch Martha's hand but she backed away*
Martha: WHAT DO YOU WANT RAPH?! AND STOP TOUCHING ME!!!!!
Raphael: I just wanna say I'm sorry
*Martha giggles*
Martha: and you think I actually believe that?
Raphael: no baby I'm dead serious I'm sorry I should have been honest with you.... I had no idea that it was going to backfire on me and cause me to break my grandson's heart I'm sorry ok please forgive me and to answer your question yes I forgive you for cheating and I'm serious this time baby I really do I don't want no other woman but you the only thing I ask is that you forgive me too
*Martha eyes starts to tear up*
Martha: yes I forgive you

They stare into each other's eyes and gave each other a long passionate kiss and about 5 minutes later the kiss ends....
Raphael: JAMARI YOU CAN COME FROM UPSTAIRS NOW
Jamari: OK
*he comes from downstairs*
Jamari: so did you two get back together?
Raphael: yes jayjay we are back together
Jamari: yay!!!! He says jumping into both of their arms
Jamari: I'm kind of sleepy
Raphael: ok well go take a shower and get in bed
Jamari: ok

Jamari's inner thoughts: I finally have my grandparents back I'm so happy I hope they stay together forever...
