Chapter 6: Meeting Pack Doctor

Scarlette's POV

We finally arrived at the pack doctor's office and it looked a bit different than how I keep my own practice. I traced my hand across the counters. Oh my god. I should be at work, do they know I was taken? Xander looked at me like he could read my mind.

"I called in for you at your work. You don't need to worry. I also wanted you to know the man you work with, wishes he looked like me." Xander winked.

oh no really hope he didn't talk to him. my heart dropped. My ex-boyfriend is also another person I share my practice with. Andrew was my first love and we dated for 10 years. There was so much love at the beginning and then it suddenly started to disappear. I remember coming home from work and seeing a blonde-haired girl in our bed. That was the last I saw of him before I decided to take a random trip to Italy with my best friend as a getaway. I haven't told anyone yet about being cheated on yet and im too scared to share it.

I woke from my thoughts,"You met him in person? how did you find out about him?!". Xander raised his eyebrows,"I found alot about you, lets just say I have many little spies. I know you look super sexy in that little lab coat of yours".

I smacked his arm,"Were you watching me at work? that's fucking creepy I could get you arrested!".

As I was about to continue on, the pack doctor walked in. The pack doctor was actually a girl around my age. The girl reached out to shake my hand,"hi how are you Scarlette, I'm Davina I will be your doctor from now on." I made sure to look at all her features. this girl was beautiful with bleached blonde hair and brown eyes. Now that I think about it, did xander like her? this girl was gorgeous. I noticed that davina was looking at xander like she was in love with him.

Checking to see how Xander felt about her I noticed he didn't even take a second glance at her. I could tell he thought she was cute but he wasn't in love with her like she was with him. I got so caught in my thoughts I completely zoned out of what was going on.

"Anyways, with that being said you are going to be going through a lot of changes. Your wolf was somehow completely forced down inside of yourself for 27 years. Based on these tests I took, you may be going through a lot of pain and changes these next months.

Davina leaned in and whispered in my ear,"you may also feel a little horney and that's part of the mating process."

"You don't have to whisper I can hear you you know, did you forget about werewolf hearing?" Xander rolled his eyes.

My stomach started flipping with a full force and it actually hurt a little bit, I let out a small yelp. I felt a burning at my core like an itch I couldn't scratch. Davina grabbed my arm, it's going to be okay that's just your wolf reacting to its mate.".

After listening to her words Xander and I left. Once we left the door I turned towards Xander,"did you sleep with her Alexander?". His eyes opened wide,"yes we slept together many times she's great in bed, but we don't have that chemistry. When we were together we fucked it wasn't love. Davina will always be a good friend of mine but nothing more.

I'll see you at your first training session in an hour. By the way, I can't wait to see you when your horny, that's something I will never forget and I would die to see." Alexander slapped my ass lightly and then started to walk away,"wow you really think you will get to see me horny? I can be horny for other men any day, Maybe in your wildest dreams blue eyes!" I screamed!

Out of nowhere I realized I was smashed up against the wall with his body pressed into mine. All I could feel was fire all around his body and mine. I felt his hard from pants press against my core, thankfully I had leggings on but if I were naked I wouldn't be alive right now. "Don't ever say you are horny for other men again, I'm your mate and you should only have those feelings for me. Just wait until you see what I can do with women."

His eyes were black then changed back to his normal gray,"anyways nice to see you! I'll see you at our first training session in an hour." Xander acted like nothing just happened, waved, and walked right out the door like nothing happened, leaving me fighting for my breath. This man had me begging for my oxygen back all I could feel was the burning from his touch and it was uncontrollable.

Alexander may have won at this flirty time but this training session, he will be sorry. I could feel my wolf smile.
