The two wolves started fighting like...well...animals. They were clawing at each other, sinking their huge teeth into one another. Eventually they broke a boat and rolled off into the woods.
"Take Bella and her sister to Emily's" the alpha told the two remaining boys.
"Guess the wolf's outta the bag." One of them said, trying to be funny. I chuckled a bit, pulling my sister up to her feet.
"What bag?" The other guy asked, not understanding the joke.

Bella's old truck rumbled down one of the many dirt roads on the rez, stopping in front of a small two story red cottage. Jared, the beta of the pack, jumped down from the bed of the truck, lending a hand to help me. I, however, leapt down myself, landing gracefully on my feet. Embry, the other of the two wolves, got out of the driver's seat, and the two boys made some kind of call before heading towards the house.
"I think we should go and see if Jacob's okay." Bella called out as she rolled down her window. Literally, the truck was so old it still has hand cranks for the windows.
"I hope Paul sinks some teeth in him. Serves him right." Jared said as the two boys continued towards the door. I shrugged at Bella and motioned for her to get out.
"No way, Jacob's a natural. See him phase on the fly?" Embry said, and I just pretended not to know what was going on. "I got $5 says Paul doesn't touch him."
"Easy money. Jacob's a rookie. With Paul you got your riley veteran. No contest." They both turned to look at Bella, who was still sitting in the truck.
"Come on in Bella, we won't bite!" Embry called.
"Speak for yourself." Jared muttered, and I laughed. Bella rolled her eyes before reluctantly getting out, walking over to Embry and I.
"About Emily, Sam's fiance. Don't stare. It bugs Sam." Embry said before following Jared and going into the house.
"Why would I stare?" Bella asked. No one answered, so we headed inside too.
"You guys hungry?" I heard a feminine voice call. "Like I have to ask." The girl, Emily, I'm assuming, chuckled lightly. Bella and I both leaned in the doorway, watching the two boys sit and each grab a giant muffin. At that point, the girl turned around. She had dark russet skin, and dark eyes. Her long dark hair fell straight down her back and shoulders, bangs framing her face. That's when I saw it. What we weren't supposed to stare at. Three deep scars ran down her face, like claw marks. I quickly averted my eyes.
You've seen worse. I reminded myself. I was a doctor at a camp for demigods. I'd sewn people's limbs back on. But the curiosity inside me couldn't help but wonder if Sam had done that to her.
"Who're they?" She asked the two guys.
"The Swan sisters, of course." One of them answered.
"I'm Aria." I said.
"Bella." Bella introduced herself.
"So you're the vampire girl." Emily said
"So you're...the wolf girl." Bella replied. I rolled my eyes.
"Guess so. Well...an engaged one." UGH. Emily placed a huge plate of muffins down on the table.
"Save some for your brothers." She said, grabbing each of the boys' wrists as they both went for another muffin. "And ladies first." She added. "Muffin?" She asked me and Bella.
"Sure, thanks." I said, grabbing one from the pile before sitting down next to Jared.
"Leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sam's gag order." Emily said as Bella grabbed a muffin, going to stand by the stairs.
"He didn't say anything to me." Bella said.
"That's a wolf thing. Alpha's orders get obeyed whether we want them to or not." Embry said. "Oh and check it out, we can hear each other's thoughts."
"Would you shut up? These are trade secrets!" Jared said. He reminds me so much of Jesse, it almost hurts to be around him. "This chick runs with vampires!" Jared shouted.
"Can't really run with vampires." Bella said, attempting a joke. "Cause they're fast."
"Jeez, Bells, enough with the self-deprecating SHIT!" I screamed. "Do I need to call Rick and get you another appointment?" I asked
"No, I'm doing better." She said.
"Crap, forgot you were here." Embry said. "Do you know about vampires?"
"I know about a lot more than just vampires." I said, smiling slightly.
"Freaked out yet guys?" Jared asked.
"I stopped doing that a long time ago." I said.
"You're not the first monsters I've met." Bella said, and I rolled my eyes.
"Jacob's right, they're good with weird." Sam said as he walked in and went straight to Emily. He kissed her lips, and then started kissing in her hair and on her scar. Tears welled in my eyes as I subconsciously rubbed the scar on my neck that my hair typically hid. Jesse used to do that with me. I looked over at Bella, who seemed to understand my pain. We heard footsteps outside, Jacob and Paul were back. I looked up at Jake. Our eyes met, and everything seemed to melt until it was just the two of us.

Jake POV
After what happened with Paul, Embry and Jared apparently took the Swan girls to Emily's house. After the two of us got everything sorted out and Sam got us calmed down, we all went there too. It was a bit of a weird sight, and Aria seemed to fit in better with the pack than Bella did. They both looked over at me. I smiled at Bella, and turned to look at her sister. Our eyes met, and everything seemed to melt. I saw the sky, sun, trees. I saw her running, blond curls bouncing and blue eyes shining. Her lips forming a single word:Jacob.
I had imprinted.

Aria POV
"Congrats man!" Were the first two words that pulled me out of my stupor. Jacob had apparently fallen to one knee, staring at me. Paul hauled him up onto his feet, and he shook his head. What the Hades just happened?
Sam clapped Jacob on the back, smiling at him, but Jacob just kept looking at me.
"Can I talk to you?" He asked, and I nodded, following him outside. We walked along a dirt path, down to the beach.
"What's up?" I asked.
"So...as you probably figured out, I'm a werewolf."
"The political correct term for your species is wolf shifter. Actual werewolves are a different sub species of lycanthrope." I said.
"Right. Anyways, we do this thing called imprinting."
"What's imprinting?" I asked, even though I thought I had an idea. He paused, as if trying to find the right words.
"Imprinting is like...like when you see her. Everything changes. All of the sudden it's not gravity holding you to the planet, it's her. Nothing else matters." He paused, looking me right in the eye. Shit. "You would do anything, be anything for her."
"Sounds like you know the feeling." I said.
"I just discovered it. Aria..."
"No." I said, looking down at the ground, the waves crashing on the shore.
"I imprinted. On you."
