Into The New World

Day 3 - [Part One]

"Now what should I call you two? Oh I know, I'll name the white one Snow while the black one Night or maybe shadow?" Xiao Zhan said as he carried the two pups towards the trailer. Yesterday they buried the old lady to let her rest in peace and took whatever that can be useful from her house. And today they are about to leave the city. Since they have a trailer Xiao Zhan managed to literally pack his whole room along with the most valuable things for him. Which are all pictures of him with his family, some of himself and with his friends.

"Those names are weird Zhan. Just name them the name you see fit with their looks." That made Xiao Zhan pout. He isn't really good at naming. Xu Kai silently put the other remaining stuff they had into the trailer. After that he went inside to have a look to make sure nothing's left for them to take with them. As he look around he can't help but remember the months he had spent with Xiao Zhan in that apartment. The fun times they had done, playing around or simply cuddling when it's rainy day since Xiao Zhan likes to cuddle when the weather is gloomy. It makes him miss those happy days. With one last look and a few photos he took using his phone and a camera he went out and closed the door shut locking it as he put the key into his pocket.

"As you can clearly see or hear I did name them base off of their looks that's why I called the white one snow since she looks like one and the other night or shadow since he's all black -- then I'd prefer shadow for the black one's name." Xu Kai butted in as he took a sit in the driver's seat and his choice made Xiao Zhan smile. So without much to say the both agreed with the name snow and shadow. And with that they began their journey. Xiao Zhan took one last glance at their apartment as it slowly and gradually becomes smaller as they drove off. His heart ache at the memories he had in that apartment with Xu Kai. He wished to get back to those happy days but he knows that it will never happen.

They are now living in a world where it's not sunshine and rainbows. People aren't busy working anymore but instead they are busy trying to survive, regroup and make a safe camp. Children who should be happy going to school, spending time with their parents aren't happy now because they are living in fear. Well those who managed to survived at least. This new world of theirs is far from the one they once knew. A lot has already changed even though the apocalypse only started a week ago.

And since there's still electricity they managed to get news about what's going on around the world. Asia is now populated with walkers. Most of the survivors have fled to other countries while the rest was stuck in Asia. Since China is a big country it'll be hard getting off and into another country. Xu Kai and Xiao Zhan has to make it to one of the harbours in China and try to at least make a boat work for them to get out of China. But that is if the walkers didn't manage to get into one of the ships or bite someone who's on their way to safe zone.

Xiao Zhan and Xu Kai managed to get out of the city without fighting. It was their luck that they didn't encounter a horde but only a small group of walkers which didn't even give them a glance. Outside the city was a bit peaceful. Only a few walkers were seen but when they enter another City far bigger than the city they were in a few hours ago, it was chaotic. Windows were broken in every house they saw as well as a few buildings. One building was already on the road crumbling as there must've been an explosion the time the zombie apocalypse happened.

From every corner they saw groups of walkers standing there doing nothing. Their rotting flesh, mouth bloody and still has a few flesh stuck in between each tooth. Some have limbs dangling or being dragged, one walker even has a broken neck so it was looking at people at an odd angle. Some walkers already have their insides showing, that might've been torned by other walkers when it was still human. The sight was horrifying. What was supposed to be humans are now dead people walking around aimlessly. Trying to find their next target.
