All I thought about was seeing Beth. I know I should not have kissed her but I couldn't help it. She was standing there looking so good and I was vulnerable. I walked to the kitchen to get me something to eat. I let my boy stay the night so he was already in the kitchen.
"Wassup fool." Durrell said to Dewayne.
"Wassup man. You up early all in my damn fridge." Dewayne said back.
"What did you expect? A nigga is hungry." Durrell said as he ate the cereal.
"When aren't you hungry?" Dewayne said laughing as he fixed him a bowl of cereal.
"So spill the beans. What's really up with you and ole girl?" Durrell asked.
"Dee don't start man. I told you. She's just my neighbor." Dewayne lied and said.
"Man tell that shit to someone who don't know. I know your ass. And you most definitely feeling her." He said to Dewayne putting a spoon full of cereal in his mouth.
"Man I can't lie. I am feeling her. But she is married." Dewayne admitted.
"And when have you ever let that stop you before?"
"See this is why I don't tell you shit." Dewayne said fixing him some orange juice.
"You telling me this cause you know I am gonna tell you what to do. Have you talked to her?" Durrell asked.
"Nah. Not today. I kissed her yesterday." Dewayne admitted.
"You what? Oh shit D. What you gonna do? You usually get those panties next." Durrell said laughing.
"Man come off that. I just told you. She's married." Dewayne said sitting down at the high bar.
"And like I just said when have that stopped you before?" Durrell said to Dewayne.
Dewayne just sat there quiet and ate his cereal. He didn't want to make a big deal. Dee is a mess and he didn't want to get him going.
"You quiet over there. I need to know the tea man." Durrell said as he walked over and sat next to Dewayne.
As he continues to eat his cereal there was a ring at the door. Dewayne looked at Durrell and back at the door.
"You was expecting someone?" He asked him as he walked to the door.
"Nah was you?" Durrell asked him.
"Nah. That's like crazy. I'm getting all these visits and ain't even been here long." He said as he walked to his door to see who it was.
As he got to the door he opened it and saw Beth on the other side smiling. He looked at her with a look on his face. He wasn't expecting her to come over after what happened yesterday. Dewayne looked her in her eyes as he licked his lips.
"Wassup?" He said to her not breaking the stare.
"We need to talk." Bethany said trying not to show how she really felt to him.
"We do. Come in." He said stepping back so she can come inside the house.
They walked to the living room and stopped in midways of the hallway.
"Aye can you excuse us?
We need to talk." Dewayne said to Durrell.
"No problem. I got to run to the store anyway. I was actually heading out the door." Durrell said to Dewayne with a smirk on his face.
Before he headed out the door he leaned over and whispered in Dewayne ear.
"I want all the damn details when I get back. Just text me when it's clear. I already know this shit about to go down from here." Durrell said as he walked off and left the house.
"Do you want something to drink or something?" He asked her as he walked in the kitchen.
"No thank you."
"Ok. Let's go to the couch and we can talk."
They walked in the living room and sat down. Dewayne turns and face her and waited on her to start talking.
"About yesterday. The kiss I mean. What was that?" Bethany started.
"Yeah. I knew that is what you wanted to talk about. I'm sorry about that. But I'm not sorry for doing it. I want you so bad Beth. I find you so attractive. But I know you are married. And I don't want to come between that." Dewayne expressed as he stared right into her eyes.
Bethany started moving around in the chair. She cleared her throat and looked off. Dewayne reached over and turned her face back to him and came in closer to her. Looking into her eyes he licked his lips and bit down on the bottom.
"I can't stop looking at you. You are so beautiful to me. And your eyes. They just take me somewhere. Beth I'm not trying to make things more difficult nor awkward but I want to kiss you again."
Bethany moved out his embrace and slid back some.
"We can't do this. I love my husband. I've never cheated on him. But there is something about you that keeps me intrigued. I'm scared as hell. This has never ever happened to me before Dee."
"I know. I can tell. Just let me give you a small kiss please. My shit is feening for you." Dewayne said as he moved back in closing the gap between them.
Bethany had butterflies all in her stomach. She was nervous as all get out. Kissing Dewayne will only open more doors that she don't need to open. Dewayne was so close to her now that they felt each other breath.
"I just need you for real Beth. I won't ask you no more. Just this one time." Dewayne said as he caressed her face.
"Ok. Just this once." Beth said softly in his ear.
Dewayne went in and kissed her lips softly a few times. Then he moved around her face. He looked at her and went for the kill. Bethany opened her mouth and gave him access to her mouth. Leaning on the sofa they begin to make out. Wrapping her legs around Dewayne they started removing clothes. Then it hit Bethany what she was doing.
"No no no. I can't. I'm sorry." Bethany said removing herself from the couch and putting her shirt back on.
"I'm sorry. I got to go." Bethany said running to door and leaving.
