Her hands grazed his skin, removing the used gauges from his wounds. Her eyes gawked his tone abdomen. She lacked human contact, let alone contact with the opposite gender. So being so close to Itachi made her flustered.
"Th-They are healing up n-nicely," she chocked out as she wrapped him up with a fresh pair of gauges.
"You th-think so?" his voice winced as she tightened the gauges ever so slightly.
"Sorry about that, and yes, I do! I did a damn good job, even if you came out of the blue!" her hands began to glow green as she used her chakra to encourage his body to regenerate.
"If you don't mind me asking, are you a medical-nin?" Itachi was left astonished by the way she was able to perform such healing powers.
"I suppose I was, not so long ago," her eyes trailed up to meet his charcoal-colored ones.
"Interesting," he nodded, as a strange feeling erupted in his stomach. It wasn't pain, surprisingly enough, but the way her eyes glistened in the morning light made him feel different.
"What about you, can I assume that you're an Anbu from the hidden leaf village?" her hands continued to move around his lower abdomen. Itachi nodded in response, feeling a bit nervous to answer with his words.
"Interesting," she smiled lightly, refocusing her eyes onto his abdomen again.

"Now that you're up walking, I can take you to the waterfall. Where you can properly wash," she placed a towel on his bed and another on her shoulder.
"That sounds splendid,"
"Here I went into the town nearby, and I got you some soap, and um—a change of clothing," her cheeks flushed as she places the clothes on top of the towels.
"You didn't have to do that [y/n]," his eyes showed how shocked he was.
"I need to wash my clothes, and I need to wash that roughed up uniform of yours, so you kinda need something else to change into," she then grabbed a small sack that was filled with clothes and cleaning detergent.
"At least let me take that for you," he stood up slowly, trying to reach for her clothes filled bag.
"No, you still can't strain yourself! I can carry this on my own just fine!" she shot him a proud smile. Itachi sighed in defeat, for the past month, he realized that [y/n] was stubborn, and extremely independent.
The pair had an unspoken rule. They didn't speak about their past nor pry into their personal lives. They had small chat about random topics, but the only particular thing they knew about each other was their names.
They quietly made their way to the waterfall, the awkwardness the use to share when he first awoken had finally faded away. Their was no tension, only tranquility, and they both enjoyed it.
"I know we don't speak too much about our personal lives...but is it okay if I ask about the village you are from?" Itachi questioned as the snaps and crackles of the dead twigs and leaves sounded with each step they took.
"Oh, I guess you should know since I know where your from," she chuckled while her eyes watched the scenery before her.
"I'm from the village hidden in a waterfall," she confessed, which brought shock to Itachi, she was far from home, and he wanted to know what she was doing in the land of fire. He couldn't tell if he wanted to know because it was his ninja instinct or if it was just because he was so interested in the women who took him in so effortlessly.
"Oh, I see," he refocused his attention to the trail.
"I'm not a spy or anything," she gave him a reassuring smile.
"I just couldn't stay there anymore. I had to leave, so I may or may not be a rouge ninja..."
