Chapter 11 - Paint The Town Weird

Autumn's P.O.V

            "Ha! Beat you!" Dylan shouted. I crossed my arms over my chest and cursed under my breath. No one has been able to beat me, not even Owl and she's the one who taught me. Dylan got up and did a little dance. I rolled my eyes.

"I won! I won!" He sang.

"By one measly percent." I said.

"Yep." He said popping the 'p'. I rolled my eyes and got up. I gathered our dishes and put them in the sink.

"Oh crap I got to go!" Dylan said as soon as I walked back into the living room.

"Aww dang." I said.

"Sorry Ki Hong wants me too pick him up at the airport and that's four hours away!" Dylan said grabbing his jacket.

"Ok then. See you tomorrow." I said.

"Oh yeah the bet. Yeah definitely, nice meeting you. By Tommy." Dylan said and left. I sighed and sat down on the couch.

"Thanks for coming." I said. No response. We just sat there in silence. My mind was swimming with questions. So are we dating? What are we exactly? Did he forget about the kiss?

"Autumn." Thomas said knocking me out of my train of thoughts.

"Yeah?" I asked looking over at him.

"What are we exactly?" He asked. It's like he read my mind.

"I don't know." I whispered.

"Me either." He said quietly.

"I mean we did kiss and said all that so I guess that makes us a couple right?" I said. Silence. I mentally sighed. I guess he doesn't feel the same way...

"Yeah I guess it does." He said. I let myself breathe... I didn't know I was holding in my breath.

"So it's official?" I asked, smirking slightly.

"I guess it is." He said grinning. Our lips met each other's. Sparks floated through my body as we kissed. As we slowly broke apart my eyes stayed glued to his.

"So what now?" I whispered.

"We could just keep doing this." He whispered and our lips collided again. I smiled in the kiss and my eyes fluttered shut. It was a long, sweet, passion filled kiss that brings back so many memories. He smiled as he pulled away.

"We could or we could go be weird in town." I smiled.

"Aw but I like doing this." He pouted.

"I know but I feel in the mood for weirdness." I said.

"All right. Let's go paint the town weird!" He cheered and got up. I threw my head back and laughed. After my laughing fit I got up and threw on my jacket so did he.

"I needed to get out anyways, I need to go grocery shopping the other day I thought I was out of Nutella but luckily I remembered I hid a jar in my room." I giggled. He laughed and put his arm around my shoulders as we walked out of the apartment.

            We waited in the lobby of the only Hotel in town. It had fifty stories total and only one elevator that was huge. People were piling in it and at the last second Thomas and I got in. Everyone picked his or her floors and it was silent for a long time. I clasped my hands in front of me. There were about forty people in here.

"So I bet you're all wondering why I have gathered you here today." I said seriously. Everyone looked at us weird. The elevator stopped at the second floor, which Thomas and I had picked and were the only ones that got off. The elevator doors were about to close when I pressed all the buttons and the doors closed. Thomas and I laughed so hard it hurt.

"God that was hilarious!" Thomas said.

"I know!" I wheezed. You could still hear the angry shouts of people in the elevator. We laughed and took the stairs down and walked out of the lobby into the cold air. Snow was covering the ground but it stopped snowing and the roads are beginning to clear up a little.

"What next?" Thomas asked.

"Well its now," I checked my watch, "Four-fifty, I need to go grocery shopping." I said as we continued down the snowy sidewalk.

"I actually need to also, lets go!" He said and grabbed my hand and ran. I laughed as he pulled me towards the super market.

            "Oh I'm getting this!" Thomas said holding up some sort of pastry and throwing it into his cart. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the Nutella section. I filled the cart with about eight of them. He stared at me wide eyed.

"Shut up I like me some Nutella." I said rolling the cart to the bread section. He rolled his eyes and we continued shopping.

"I have an idea." I said abruptly.

"What is that?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Let's play tag!" I said.

"Hell." He paused. "Yes." I smiled.

"1 2 3 YOU'RE IT!" I said and ran away he chased after me. I knocked some cans down on 'accident' and ran further away from him. I was laughing so hard it hurt. I looked back and didn't see him so I paused to catch my breath. I turned around one last time and screamed as Thomas's face appeared. He poked my nose and ran away screaming 'YOU'RE IT!' I laughed and ran after him. He 'accidently' knocked boxes of cheese crackers over. I laughed and jumped over them swiftly. I was just about to grab the back of his shirt when a bulky man came up and I ran into his chest. I stumbled back.

"Sorry." I said still laughing at Thomas. Thomas had turned around and stared at me.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" The man's voice boomed through the store.

"Having fun, duh." I said rolling my eyes.

"Out of my store now!" He said. I put my hands up in surrender.

"Hey man we were having some fun, there is no rules against that." I said. His face grew red with anger. Oops, I ticked off someone.

"Out now!" He roared.

"Fine. Fine were leaving. Come on Thomas." I said. "We'll be talking to the FBI about this mishap." The guy gave me a weird look I held back a laugh. Thomas grabbed my wrist and pulled me out the store. I couldn't take it anymore I burst out laughing and so did Thomas. We walked down the street to find any other super market, this time to actually shop.

            When we finally got done shopping Thomas and I walked back to my apartment. He put his groceries in his car and stayed inside for a while. We talked about nothing then he said he had to leave. I smiled and gave him a hug.

"See you tomorrow?" I said in his chest.

"Definitely." He replied. I pulled back and he gave me a peck on the lips. I smiled and let him go.

"Goodbye Thomas." I said as he went out the door.

"Goodbye Autumn." He said and the door closed. I sat down on the couch. Wow today was AMAZING!!! I had so much fun. Suddenly my phone rang.
