Note:
If I italic and underline any of the Virge's text. It means his voice multiplied.

Virgil didn't know what to expect. It could have been casted by a spell when it's opened will cursed anyone who touched. The writing could be written in text only magical creatures could read or maybe rubbed off. Or the paper could rip when it's unrolled. Maybe this is another half which leads to him searching again. Or worse, it's a blank trance and-

"For f*cks sake! Just open it already" Remus yelled in frustration.

He snatched the scroll unrolling from it's state. Everyone held their breath.

"Crest of Retribution" Remus said casually.

"You said it was a charm" Janus commented.

"Well it's practically the same thing, and plus I just wanted to mess with you two" He winked snickering.

Both let out a deflated sigh. Virgil cocked back to the scroll skeptically, he inhaled once more and leaned forward.

1995, February 29th

Crest of Retribution

This crest was created by The Five Magix to sentence all of the Villains and Sidekicks. Each member placed an element of choice. The magic this crest contains was unexpectedly powerful and overwhelming. And so, The Five agreed to discard it's power. Merlin, one of the last witnesses. Wrote down the elements, in secret of preserving the relic.

The trio unrolled more. To find a single blue stripe and the end of the scroll.

"Great, it's blank! Another scavenger hunt" Virgil slumped back in seat while toughing his hood up.

"Eyes can be deceiving, Virgil" Janus said softly.

Virgil scrunched in confusion and maybe agitated by the change of tone he used.

"You are creeping me out how much you know about this place" Virgil commented.

He ignored and continue. "The cause of why they erased the object from history is because of fearing it's power. Now, to 'safely' guard it and can never be reassembled again. Is to hide the text"

Everyone stayed quite piecing together the information. "So, you're implying the text is invisible?"

Janus replied with a smirk.

Virgil was hesitate but. "And the only way to see it is to-"

"Use a spell" Janus finished.

Two of them turned heads. He immediately walked away from his seat. Slowly stepping to the window next to his bed. The curtains are not completely closed. As a crease revealed the evening sun still trying to get through the royal blue fabric. He hissed as a ray shined right to his eyes, never once seen clear sky back on the Isle. Doesn't really think will get used to it either. Reminded how long are they counting on him.

On him.

He slouched shoulders at the reminder. What if he- slipped away. They all could. They could drop this right here, right now. Their parents couldn't reach them, they couldn't do anything to them if they walked away. But what would be worse knowing a debt should have been fulfilled haunt him even more for the rest of his days. Wouldn't even know what peace is like.
