Chapter 2 "Sounds Like A Plan!"

KAVANEI'S POV

I wake up in a room that smells of... Coffee and ghoul. "you're awake! Sorry for asking but what happened to you?" A boy asks I sit up
"..... I don't know. I was gathering food for my mannor when... I don't know... I just blacked out." I say reaching up to my head. I feel it sting and when I look at my hand, I see blood.
" I see.. "The boy says. My feel hungry and my eyes start to flicker! Shoot! "Oh your a ghoul too?" He asks. I twitch "Yea... Are you?" I ask.
"I am. My names Kaneki, Ken Kaneki. I do have a question though, if you're a ghoul then why hasn't your wound healed?" Kaneki asks.
"I'm Kavanei. I haven't eaten. I put my mannor first. Speaking of, I need to get some food to them" I say and stand up
"Wait! Here have some coffee first! It'll help. I can get you some food too. How many people are in the mannor?" Kaneki asks "Hm... Alright... And you can't help. I have 200 Ghouls there." I say and sit down. I twitch my head "Wow... Um what's up with the twitches?" He asks
"There's alot about me that you don't know kid. That's the first thing that leads to other things." I mumbles as he hands me a cup of coffee.

I tell him about my past roughly and a woman joins us. "Oh she's awake. Hello are you alright now?" The woman with purple hair asks. "I'm.. Better... Thank you. What happened and how did you guys find me?" I ask curiously "You were in an alley unconscious. There were bloody trials around you. Were you attacked by a ghoul?" The woman asks.
"No. Don't be stupid we finish the job. Don't we Kaneki?" I ask. He looks at me "We.. Do?" He tilts his head
"Oh so you're a ghoul? Hm... Well I am too. My names Touka. Care to fill me in on your side of the story?" Touka asks "Yea sure. But is there anyone else I'd need to repeat this too because I'd rather just get it all done." I say to the two of them "I'll get the rest of them..." Kaneki says.

When they arrive I tell them virtually everything. "hm. If you need, I can get Renji to go get some food for the mannor. I think you need to be here for a while" An old man says. I nod "Alright. I'll go with this Renji you speak of. I need to ask one of the older ghouls to be in charge." I say "I don't suppose you'd take her and Kaneki to get a mask off of Uta would you Touka? I presume Kaneki's is already done" the old man says. "Ugh fine" Touka grumbles.

We get to a mask shop that loos incredible. "Hey again. Who's this?" A man asks. I look over and see a tall edgy looking man. "Hey Uta! This is Kavanei. She's new and we're looking to get her a mask" Touka says
"No problem. Come sit over here Kavanei" Uta says. I nod and sit in a chair in front of him "So, parents?" He asks
"Dead." I reply. He asks me a tone of personal questions and I answer all of them without hesitation. "Why is she just answering them and not caring?" Kaneki asks Touka "Thats obvious. She must be a very smart ghoul. That meaning, she knows the mask maker has to know quite abit about you to get a good mask" Touka says. She isn't wrong though. "Alright. Measurements are done. I think I have a good idea for you. It's plain ish but affective. I'm thinking a belt for the ear and top of the mask and lace for the rest. It'll only be the mouth and nose since your hair covers a fair amount of your face "Uta says "Thats perfect thanks" I smile.

"And why did you ALL have to come?" I ask as Touka, uta, Renji and Kaneki follows me. Renji holding afew bodies and the rest with nothing "Curious" They all say one after another. I roll my eyes and open the mannor door "Welcome, to the mannor where we take in young and old ghouls with no home" I say. I hear tapping and turn to see Melanie, Draco and Kalah running towards me. I pick up Melanie being the youngest and the other two just hug me. "You have kids?" Renji asks "I guess you could say that. But no. They aren't." I say walking into the large kitchen the 4 of them follow closely. "Oh hello Lila!" I say sitting next to the Brunette "Hello Kava! Who are these?" She asks renji helps me put the food in the fridge "they're friends. I need to speak to you all about something so can you go gather everyone in the ballroom?" I ask. Lila nods and walks off. "this place sure is huge" Touka gawks "Yup! Home to 200 Ghouls" I say twitching.
"200...that's amazing. How can you manage to feed them all?" Uta asks. I sit on the counter cross-legged "Well, most of the older ones tend to feed themselves. They usually use this as an apartment and have a life outside of the mannor." I say admiring the tattoos and piercings on the man.

"Alright? Listen up everyone! This so really important!" I stand on the ballroom balcony that over looks the room. Everyone turns to me "Ahem, so, as some of you know, I went to get food today but ended up being attacked. Now, don't worry. I'm going to be leaving with my friends for a few weeks, maybe even months. So I'm leaving Lila, Javan and Venice. I promise you all that I will be back. I will try to pay visits but I presume I'll be very busy. So with that, my young and old ghouls, I wish you all well and if you see a crazy Kavanei, don't be afraid to say hi" I say and smile. "But Kava!! You can't leave me!" I hear a high pitched girl. I turn around and feel a girl tugging at my belts. "Oh Melanie...you're a big girl now! You can do this!" I say picking her up. "Well actually... She can come. We have a kid there anyway and I'm sure they'd make good friends." Touka says. Melanie gasps in excitement "Alright, sounds like a plan" I say and ruffle Melanie's hair.

Awh I love Melanie so much she's adorable. Now I need some advice. Do I make Uta, Kaneki or Hideyoshi her live interest. I kinda love them alllll EEEEEEK Xoxo
