Oh, uh thanks...

Shinsou's POV

The rest of the day flew by in a blur. As soon as I heard the last bell of the day ring, I was out of there. I walked back to my dorm, and shut the door so I could get ready to go to the movies with Monoma. I kind of asked him last minute and didn't expect him to go, but he's the only real friend I have in this new class so I guess hanging out won't be that bad. I changed from my uniform, and into some casual clothes. I put on a jacket because it's always freezing at movie theaters. When I was done, I sat on my bed, and went on my phone until seven.

Monoma's POV

It was currently 6:45pm and I was freaking out about this hangout with Shinsou. I don't know why. But I was. I was already dressed, but I didn't know if I should go to his dorm or meet him there. I was silently panicking when I heard a knock at my door. I opened the door, and saw Shinsou waiting there.

"Hey, ready to go? I know I came a little early. I just want good seats."

"Uh y-yeah lemme just grab my stuff real quick"

I picked up my phone and my wallet, and ran out of the room to catch up with Shinsou. We talked about random stuff while we walked to the movie theater. When we got inside Shinsou bought us popcorn, drinks, candy and paid for our tickets. Dang, I didn't even have to bring my money. I was kidding when I said he should buy me popcorn.

"Do you want anything else?"

"No, no you've already got a lot of stuff for me. Do you want anything else?"

"Nah. Plus I can pay for myself"

"And I can't?"

"Well it was my idea, so it's only fair that I pay"

Awww that's so sweet. Wait what? Before I could think any longer, my feet were moving into the theater, and we got to the aisle.

"Where do you wanna sit?" I said turning to Shinsou.

"Up to you, but I like the back."

"Back it is"

We took a seat, and the movie started. I gotta admit the movie was great. But every time I went to get popcorn, my hand would brush against Shinsou, and I would die inside. After a while I started getting really cold. Wow looks like I should have brought a jacket.

"Hey are you cold?"

"W-why?" I said shivering.

"Because you're literally shaking, and your hand feels like ice."

Oh my God he noticed that my hands were cold?

"Here."

Shinsou took off his jacket, and handed it to me.

"You need it more than I do."

Holy shit. That's it. I'm gonna explode. I can't handle this anymore. He gave me his fucking jacket. I don't even know how to describe how I'm feeling right now.

"Won't you be cold?"

"Don't worry about it, I'm warm by now."

"Oh, uh thanks..."

I turned back to the screen to watch the movie when I felt someone grab my hand. I looked over at Shinsou, and saw him staring at the screen. It's like he could read my mind, cus he answered without even making eye contact.

"You're hands were cold. Mine aren't, so I'm warming them up."

"Oh ok"

After that we didn't say any words. No words needed to be said. Everything was clear from that day forward. I, Neito Monoma am in love with Hitoshi Shinsou.

Shinsou's POV

After the movie, we left the theater and saw it was raining. We decided to take the bus instead of walking home, because of the rain. Monoma had my hood on, so he wasn't getting wet. Me on the other hand, was soaked. Monoma offered to give me my jacket back more times than I can count, but my answer was always the same. No. While on our way to the bus stop Monoma made us stop, at some corner shop to get an umbrella. He insisted on paying for it, but I gave the cashier my money and put Monoma's money back in his wallet as he looked for an umbrella.

We finally left the shop, and I held an umbrella over both of us while we walked to the bus stop. When we finally got there we sat down, and waited for the bus. I pulled out my phone, and saw it was already nine. We gotta get back before someone notices how long we were gone. The bus came, I closed the umbrella, and stepped on. Monoma followed me. I paid for our tickets (after five minutes of Monoma complaining about me not letting him pay.) We sat down in the front, and I stared out the window. When we finally got back to the dorms, I said goodbye to Monoma, and shut my dorm's door.

I finally plopped down onto my bed wet clothes and all. I was just so tired I didn't even care. I got to finally think of the events of tonight when I realized. I like Monoma. Like...really like him.
