Parents Don't Approve - ForthYo

Two days later

ForthYo were walking to school when Ming ran up behind them and pushed the couple apart.

"What was that for?" Forth asked.

"Yo's.... Dads... Friends..." Ming was out of breath.

"I'll translate. My Dads are on their way to the college to see me. They still don't know we're dating, and we have to pretend to be friends - because they still treat me like a baby. That's why I still haven't told them we've been dating for almost six years." Yo said.

"How'd you get all of that... From three words?" Forth was amazed.

"Ming and I have been friends since we were actual babies. He's pretty easy to figure out," Yo said.

"Wait.... My Dads are at the school!? Oh shit!" Yo just realized how bad this really is.

"It's going to be ok baby," Forth said and wanted to hug him but he could see Yo's Dads a few feet in front of them so he just put his hand on his shoulder before walking next to Ming - Yo nodded and the 'three best friends' continued walking into the school.

"Yo!" Mx. P yelled and Yo smiled and put on his 'act' (of being a baby/spoiled/annoying)

"Daddy!" Yo ran over to his dad and hugged him tightly - also hugged his other dad.

"Mr./Mx. P, nice to see you," Ming was always very formal with them.

"Hello Ming. How've you been?" Mr. P asked and hugged Ming.

"I'm good, this is Forth. He's one our best friends - you guys met him at Yo's 16th birthday," Ming said and introduced Forth to them.

"Nice too see you again- Yo, where are you going?" Mr. P asked.

"I need to go drop something off really fast. I'll be back in ten minutes!" Yo yelled and ran off towards the library.

"Is he ok?" Mx. P asked.

"Yeah, he's got a report due by 9:15 this morning. He stayed up almost all night working on it," Ming (lied) said and Yo's Dads believed it.

"What do you study Forth?" Mr. P was interested why his son was friends with someone who looked so.... Mean. (Because of the tattoos/piercings/attitude/etc.)

"Engineering. I'm the head of the department - I mentor the freshmen and organize trips for the faculty." Forth said and Yo's Dads looked impressed.

Forth's phone dinged, he got a text.

Dad (Mx. P) was the hazer of eng. too when he was in college. Maybe he'll like you more for that

Do you plan on telling them about us?

That sounds good to me. Until then. Imma keep winning them over now

Ok. I'm on my way back now.

Yo came back over a few minutes later and said that he 'got an A on his report' keeping up with the lie he knew Ming used.

"Good job babyYo!" His dads hugged him.

"We've gotta get to class," Ming said checking his watch.

"Alright, what are you guys doing here anyway?" Yo asked.

"We were helping the biology lab clean up a hazard spill." Mr. P said.

"Alright, we'll be going now. Come home and visit us sometime," Mx. P said and hugged Yo tightly.

"I will Dads," Yo smiled and hugged them both before the three of them ran 'to class'. Really, they were running to the Engineering building and hiding there until their classes started at 11.

- later that night -

"Hey Babe," Yo said from the bathroom.

"What's up?" Forth leaned on the door frame.

Yo was uncovering his tattoos - taking the makeup off.

"Since we're telling my Dads later about us. When do you plan on telling your family?" Yo was curious.

"I already told my sister. I was going to tell mom at first, but after you left my house the first time - she made it very clear she didn't like you... So never?" Forth really didn't have an answer.

"Oh, I guess I was too cute for her," Yo said - not hurt at all by that.

"You were. She was mad I made friends with the "fairy boy" but then forgot about it as soon as my sister did something stupid..." Forth said and nearly laughed.

Yo just smiled and grabbed a towel so he could take a shower after getting most of the make up off.

Yo looked at Forth - silently telling him to leave. Forth smiled and shook his head no.

"Please..." Yo whined. For once he didn't want Forth to join him.

Nothing was wrong, he just wanted to take a normal shower for once.

"Alright baby, I'll be in my office. When you're done we'll figure out dinner," Forth smiled and kissed Yo's cheek.
Yo smiled and then (gently) pushed Forth out of the bathroom before closing/locking the door.
