Chapter one teaser:

"Did you hear about the new kid?" My brother asked as he plopped down at the edge of my bed. His blond hair poked up from underneath his beanie. His eyes rested on the book in my lap and then back up to meet my eyes. I sighed and closed the book and put it beside
me. "Why?"

He lifted up his shoulders
shrugging. "Just wondering. It seems mom knows a lot about him" he took a pause. "He's all she's talking about"

My eyebrows perked up a little. "Why? He's just a transfer."

Asher shook his head and sighed. "He was kicked out of his last school."

"Do I even wanna know?"

"A lot of people wanna know. But no one does."

How could nobody know? At least maybe one person at the school might know, I mean I wouldn't be surprised if laura knew. She literally keeps tabs on everyone like they're the new hot clothing trend(s).

Chapter two teaser:

"It's the guy I met earlier." I said.

Laura squinted her eyes to get a better look at Ace. She had her signature 'heart eyes' anime thing going on. Well it's more like dreamy eyes but let me have my moment of pride.

"And he's also cute" Laura said in her dreamy captivating voice.

I mean I guess I had to almost admit he did look cute. His deep electric blue eyes probably will allure me if he decides to use or play me in anyway. But there's no way in hell thats happening. Ever. And I'm not letting him get to me that easily. He was being a butthole and a jerk. So that's a big No-No.
