Nana's eyes are still wide after hearing what Auntu Zu said, everyone's attention is back on her because they knew that sooner or later, Zayn will make his presence known in the house. He has even stayed longer than they thought but then came to conclusion that he is only giving her the space she needed. Now the wait is over and he is finally here to claim his right and take his wife back home.
"Come let's get you ready, he can't see you like this." Hannah walked into the room, surprising Nana because they didn't talk very much after she came back from hospital four days ago.
"Hannah, I don't need any makeover to see my husband." She rolled her eyes but caught herself when she finally tested what she said in her lips. She just called him husband and claim her right, Ya Allah, she won't move on easily.
"Yes, he is your husband and that is why you should look beautiful and hot for him. It's been a week since you last saw each other so you should look your very best." Hannatu rambled, forgetting about the other occupants in the room. Nana's mother and father, Fahad and Sakinah.
"You naughty girl, but she is right. Nana, stand up and dress up a little." Her mother advised before she left with her husband following her in tow.
"Don't forget what we talk about, sister mine. There are a lot more you need to explain and don't let his faith in you falter. Don't let the trust between you guys loosen, I'll let him in." And he left, holding his wife's hands to his side and left. He hopes everything settle back to where it is and they should enjoy their marriage life, nothing in between.
Nana didn't want to do any makeover because it is Zayn that she will go to see and not any other man. He has seen her at her worst and what difference will it make if she goes to see him? There is actually nothing to hide since she is almost hundred percent sure she won't go back with him and will send Hannatu to go get her clothes from there.
"Hannah, forget about it. I will just go and talk to him and come back. Please forget about any makeover, I don't need that at all." With that, she sighed and gathered all the strength she has and left for the parlour so she could see Khumais and Zayn, she missed their faces a lot.
Moving to the private living room where Zayn and Khumais were accompanied to. She sighed for the nth time and walked into the room, hearing the sound of her son's yelp of happiness and her heart tighten in her chest. She did this to him. She should've asked Zayn to bring him or she should've gone there to see him or even ask for video call but she did none. She has found out that he is her son, the first thing she should've done is ask for him but she didn't.
"Mine, Mine, Mine.." He kept chanting, moving his hands widely from the couch for her to take him in her arms and she did without hesitation.
"How are you, Mine?" She asked, grinning at him after her ritual of raining kissing around his whole face while he kept giggling at the gesture. He missed her so much.
After her moment with Khumais feeling Zayn's eyes on her the whole time, she settle her gaze on his and to say she was electrified would be an understatement. She felt like she got an electric shock and is having a hard time getting her breathing back to normal. His gaze was intense and filled with so many emotions in his eyes that it staggered her from her position so she moved and sat on the opposite couch with Khumais still in her arms.
They both kept staring at each other not knowing what to say or how to start the conversation. Nana is squirming all around the seat, keeping Khumais in between them and Zayn has had enough so he stood up and took Khumais in his arms, he walked him to the door and ask him to go find Hannah or his grandparents to which he happily did and went away to leave them with their thing.
