Chapter 6: Sans birthday

Lately I've been sleeping in way too late.

But today was not going to be q day I slept in.

Today is Sans birthday! Since we cant go out and celebrate like normal we are finding ways around the house to celebrate.

My suggestion was board games since we own so many but never play them.

Yeosang suggested balloons spelling out "happy birthday San".

Mingi and Wooyoung are in charge of making a cake while Yunho,Eomma and Appa get together movies and a meal.

San was occupied with playing video games last night since he got the controller before Wooyoung.

It used to not be a problem of who got the controller until the other controller was smashed by Mingi after he got too excited about winning a round of Mario kart.

"Sans gonna be 18 Joongie! Can you believe it??" Eomma said as he was making breakfast.

"I cant! Now we have three kids that are adults" replied appa as he drank his coffee.

I was surprised to find that I was the only one out of all my brothers that was awake.

"Good morning Jongho! I'm surprised to see you up this early" said Appa as he noticed me walk in.

"Where is everyone?" I asked.

"All of your brothers but Yunho are asleep, Yunho went to get the balloons." Explained Appa.

It felt weird that at least San wasnt up early.

Every year San Wales us up super early to have a 'longer birthday' in his words.

I guess he really was knocked out from video games all night.

After waiting around an hour, Mingi was up.

Since I had already gotten all the games out Mingi and I decided to play some while we waited for the others.

We decided on UNO so we didnt want to get out a whole board game.

Normally, we are rarely allowed to play UNO since last time we played Wooyoung slapped Yunho over a draw 4 card.

We were playing a nice, normal game until I played a draw 4.

You may be thinking, how did a simple card turn our game around?

Since I have 5 older brothers we get very competitive.

Right before I played that card Mingi had called out 'uno'.

All hell broke loose, Mingi demanded to see my cards.

Of course I denied letting him see my cards which caused him to get mad and hit the pile of cards, sending them all over the table.

Yunho had walked right when Mingis rain of terror started.

He quickly put down the bags he had in his hand and held Mingi back.

"The hell are you doing?? It's just a stupid game" said Yunho as he held Mingi.

"Language! Jongho put the cards up" scolded Appa.

I sent a glare to Mingi and started picking up the cards.

"Need some help?" I turned around to match the voice, it was San with his hair sticking up.

He clearly just woke up.

"Happy birthday!" Was all I said.

He smiled and thanked me before helping me pick up the cards.
