Chapter 16: Soccer

Today was a highly anticipated day, 5 years old Jonghos first soccer game.

The parents thought it would be good for the boy to do sports.

Soccer seemed to fit the 5 year old the best, his love for running around made it clear.

"Boys! Shoes on now!" Hongjoong yelled as he waited downstairs.

It was his task to get the boys to the game on time, Seonghwa had already taken Jongho to the field.

Hongjoong was finally able after a  "fight with the shoes monster" or Wooyoung refusing to put his shoes on.

"These boys are gonna be the death of me." he mumbled to himself.

Jongho was mindlessly kicking the soccer ball around while the team waited.

"Youll do great sweetheart,  your brothers will be here soon enough " Seonghwa encouraged as the coach called them over.

Jongho smiled, hugged Seonghwa and ran to his team.

Hongjoong arrived with the boys just as the game started.

Jongho was doing well with running to the ball and kicking it.

San had brought shiber and another toy with him to the game. Jongho, being the toy lover he is, ran over during the game wanting to play.

"Baby go play with your team,  you can play with Sannie after the game okay?" Hongjoong tried to persuade the youngest.

Tears formed in Jonghos eyes, he wanted to play toys with San, not soccer with his team.

"Wan Sannie!" Yelled Jongho.

They were able to stop the tears and get him back on the field after offering ice cream after the game.

San had felt bad and hid the toy Jongho wanted as they watched the game.

Jonghos team had won and were all playing together after the game.

Jongho had dragged his brothers to play with him. One by one he grabbed their arms and dragged them to the field.

The brothers adored their little brother. Who could say no to such a cute kid?

After an hour the parents took the boys to the ice cream parlor.

Jongho would eat some ice cream, then offer it to his brothers.

Well, more like shove it in front of their face until they accepted it.

Their baby brother was too cute not to accept it so yes, Jongho got his way.

He was extremely spoiled by all of his brothers. Not just because he was the baby but his brothers were too soft.

When they got home Jongho still had too much energy for a nap.

So to tire him out they let him play in the backyard,  mostly Yunho kicking his soccer ball around for Jongho to chase it.

Everytime he caught it he'd kick it back or roll it to Yunho.

Then the process began again, kicking the ball and chasing it until Jongho was tired or bored.

"Yun! Kick gain!" Jongho yelled as he rolled the ball back to his eldest brothers foot.

"But jongie im tired, can we play inside?" Asked Yunho.

Jonghos innocent eyes flashed up to him, "Yun no like me?"

"No! Yun like you but tired." Yunho tried to explain to his baby brother, who was on the verge of tears.

Of course it was just a guilt trip move, the boy loved soccer, especially playing with his brothers.

When they played soccer outside the brothers had to switch out to satisfy their baby brother.

Even Seonghwa and Hongjoong had to play sometimes.

"Jongho nap time!" Yelled out Hongjoong.

Yunho was happy he could go inside now without hurting Jonghos feelings more.

When Jongho didn't go in with Yunho, Hongjoong went outside and picked him up.

"Come on sweetheart lets take a nap, you can play more soccer later."

Once Jongho was asleep, Seonghwa, Hongjoong and the rest of the kids watched TV.

"Hwa, I think Jongho just likes the soccer ball, not playing it." Said Hongjoong.

"I think he liked both, he had a little trouble today but he saw a toy it was probably okay."

"Well we told him when he started he wasn't just playing." Hongjoong mentioned.

"Well, in the car he wasnt too happy about going to the game.  Lets just ask him when he wakes up. I don't want him doing something that makes him unhappy." Explain Seonghwa.

They both agreed and waited for their Youngest to wake up.

As soon as Jongho was up he dragged Mingi to play outside.

Only to be stopped by Seonghwa, "hey baby Eommas gotta talk to you first okay?"

Jongho slowly nodded and reached up to him.

Seonghwa smiled and picked him up, "answer honestly baby, do you like playing soccer or playing with the ball?"

Jongho blankly stared at him, "wanna play with Gi!"

"Youll play with him, but answer Eomma first."

"Ball!"

"Baby, would you like to not play with your team anymore?" Asked Seonghwa.

Jongho nodded, he liked kicking the ball but it wasn't fair when someone took it from him.

Once again, he was very spoiled and was used to having it all to himself (at home).

Seonghwa smiled and kissed his cheek, "okay baby go play with Gi."

The youngest ran off to find his Gi and drag him outside again.

"No more soccer it is"

Hello! Sorry this took a while, its not that great :).

This was based on my cousin when he was little.

This actually happened at a game but anyway this was shorter than usual im writing jonghos birthday right now.

Sorry itll be out late but I wanted this out before that one :)
