I came back onto the stage to join the Stolls.
"Cassandra, would you like to pick out the first singer?" I asked. Cassandra picked a name out of the large bowl on the judging panel (that was Annabeth's idea, she said it was based on the Hunger Games). She unfolded the name paper.
"Ellie Mitchell, daughter of Venus, The Daughter of Minerva." She read. The Stolls and I departed the stage and went back stage. A pretty girl was making her way through the crowd from her book. (Judging from her looks, Venus was the Roman version of Aphrodite) When Ellie got to the stage, she said,
"Hey, everyone, I'm Ellie, and my mother Venus is the goddess of love and beauty, and I'll be singing..." Ellie paused as she thought of a song. "Blank Space by Taylor Swift."
"Good luck Ellie!" Two voices called out from the crowd. Ellie smiled, and the music began.

Will came back onto the stage with the Stoll brothers.
"So, let's start with Rick Riordan for our judges." Connor Stoll said.
"Excellent job, Ellie. The song really suited your mother, and your voice suited the song as well. 10/10."
"Steven?" Asked Will.
"Well, Ellie, I don't know much about singing, but I do know that you have a very powerful voice. I've heard that song countless times thanks to Jenna Louise Coleman on the Doctor Who set, and I have to agree with Rick that your voice suits it. 10/10."
"Veronica?" Asked Travis.
"Great performance and song, Ellie. 10/10." I smiled. I had 30 points so far thanks to my favourite song.
"Cassandra?" The three boys asked together. My moment of truth had come. Camp had a Latin copy of every single Mortal Instruments book, and I loved them all.
"Amazing job, Ellie. Your personality that I saw with your friends seems to really show in that song."
"Derek?"
"Well, Ellie, I'm not much of a singer, but I know when a voice matches a song. And believe me, your voice suits that song. 10/10."
"JK?"
"Like the others said, whether that was the magic mic or not, your voice was made for that song. 10/10." I could barely hide my excitement. 60/60? Awesome!!!!
"Great job, Ellie." Connor said. "You can go back to your friends now." I made my way through Camp Jupiter back to Hannah and Melody.
"Yay Ellie!!!!!" Squealed Melody. That girl may be the daughter of Neptune, but sometimes I swear her mother is secretly Venus.
"Thanks, Mels." I grinned.
"Great job, Ellie." Hannah said.
"Thanks!"
"One question." Melody said. I knew this was coming. "Why did you say oh my God instead of oh my gods? Oh, also, you didn't sing the song right." Yep, there it was.
"Sorry, Mels, but that's how I learnt the song. And I wanted it to be as accurate as possible."
