Cameron's POV

I pant as I run through the woods. Now I'm glad I took Cross Country in school.

I turn my head around only to be greeted by more grotesque face, more than when I checked last time I turned around.

My breathing comes out in icy puffs in the cool Georgia, winter air. My leather jacket keeps my arms and neck warm, thankfully.

I hear multiple growls behind me.

'Damn! Why can't they just find something or someone else to chase?'

I keep running as fast as I can. How long have I been running? About twenty minutes, so maybe two miles? When will I outrun them?

I feel like I'm about to pass out until I see a large building, a prison I think, approaching me. Sorry, me approaching it.

I turn around one last time to see the walkers about thirty feet behind me. Good, that gives me an advantage to actually get in the walls.

I run up to the large gate and start shaking and ponding on it.

"Please, let me in!" I scream.

Then, I see a group of people come up and they start opening the gate with these weird mechanics. When it opens, I run inside. They close the gate again, leaving the walkers out there.

I fall to the ground and look up at the blue sky. I see the people start to surround me, trying to help me up.

All I can say is, "Thank you..." Before I pass out.
