♡ Chapter Fifteen ♡

♡ Glimmer's POV ♡

Yesterday was amazing!! I got to spend a whole day with Bow and the rest of the gang,but mainly Bow. I hadn't had gotten much time with him since college started,but we still manage to squeeze in those good day to day moments. And yesterday was one of them. Anyways,enough of me swooning over my fat crush,I jolt up the sounds of Bow screeching in the other room. My eyes widen in worst case scenario and throw my comforter off of my body,running my stubby legs into the kitchen where Bow was screaming like crazy. I turn my head into his direction and my magenta eyes widened as I saw the chaos in front of me. It was Bow slipping on his feet multiple times as the floor was slick with water,a pan next to the mess.

“Really Bow?”

“Im sorry Glimmer,I tried making breakfast again but I messed up.”

I could feel my heart pang in guilt as Bow's words laced with shame and his expression disappointed. I sighed softly and slip off my socks before making my way inside the kitchen,my feet slapping against the wet floor as I walk towards the taller male. Before I knew it,my arms were around him in a sweet,forgiving embrace. I could feel his arms wrap around me as well,only doing it since he was so close to falling on his ass.

“I'm not mad at you,dummy. You just wanted to make something nice for me,and yeah,you failed,but you still tried! Now...are we gonna clean this mess up?”

“Thanks Glim,but yEaH we should probably clean this up.”

He said,slowly but surely leaving my arms and leaned down,picking up the empty pan and set it in the sink. I manage to safely leave the kitchen and waddle to the storage closet,grabbing a mop and it's trusty bucket before walking back to the kitchen.

I hand the mop over to Bow and set the bucket down as we began to mop up the floor,trying not to slip on our asses in the process. Soon,though,we managed to get the tile floor as dry and clean as possible. I sigh softly of relief and lift my head up to look at the time,squinting my eyes a bit. 6:58am. Eh,we still had some time.

“Hey Bow,when we leave,you wanna get Denny's? I would tag Adora along,but she's probably swooning over her one and only Catra~~”

I asked teasingly,obviously not towards the taller male but about Adora and Catra,we always liked thinking they were making out behind our backs. Bow's pupils widened with stars and nodded his head rapidly,already growing excited. I giggle at this before making my way out of the kitchen and in the bedroom to change. I rummage through my closet to find a white crop top and a baggy blue jacket that could probably swallow me whole if it tried. I slip on some plain skin tight black shorts and blue converses before stepping out to see Bow in a pastel pink sweater with black mini arrow designs scattered about and regular denim jeans,still rocking the same boots I gave him.

“Ready?”

“Yes!”

I giggle at the taller boy's response as I locked arms with him and began skipping our way over to his car. Once we get to his red convertible, he slips his arm from mine as he makes his way to the driver's side of the car,me doing the same. We hop in and buckle our seatbelts,Bow revving up the car before backing out of the parking lot and into the town. After maybe 5 minutes of driving,it got comfortably quiet. Probably for Bow,but not for me,and as a resolution to that silence,I connected my Bluetooth to his car and scrolled through my YouTube playlist before clicking on the song ‘Sweet Boi’ by Chevy {the song above}.
