After a few months, finally uploaded. Thanks for those who stuck around and sorry for all who waited! Decided to change the scenario a little :)

Enjoy ~

I cracked one of my eyes open; the simple movement shot a burning, agonizing pain wave to my shriveled brains. I couldn’t focus or even see my environment. Everything was blurry around the edges, my vision filled with black, white and red dots. I felt like I couldn’t control my body, my mind, nothing. Everything ached, stabbed at me and suffocated me. Every pore on my skin burned with a blazing hot fire.

I hissed, wanted to scream, found that I was already screaming but lost my voice somewhere in this hell. I clawed at my skin, but instead of relieving the pain it intensified.

I heard voices around me. Voices I didn’t recognize. A small part of my brain that wasn’t yet melted away categorized them as human voices. I wanted to jump up and defend myself or even see who they were, but I couldn’t. The pain was too much. Somewhere far away, someone tried to help me, but I snarled at them to leave me alone. I couldn’t bear it. I couldn’t bear anything.

“What did you do to her?” Ares voice was amused, his eyes observing the scene before him. Selene watched him and softly smirked. “I just put her in her rightful place,” she answered. Ares facial expression didn’t change, nor did his immediate chuckle miss a beat. Selene wasn’t fooled though. She didn’t know what had happened between Shivani and him, but she was sure there at least was SOMETHING. And she wasn’t one to let important information slide past her.

“That is quite unlike your usual style. Or rather, your new ways. What made you leave those illogical morals behind?” Her hand unconsciously went to her bracelet. Selene turned her eyes towards the writhing wolf girl. Blood was oozing out of her eyes and little flames were licking her skin. She was continuously clawing at her skin, most likely trying to stop the pain of the licking flames. Selene didn’t think Shivani was actually aware of it.  She scoffed. Mortals were just so weak.

“I guess being nice is not a disposition I can hold on to for too long, “ she answered vaguely.  Ares didn’t stop watching Shivani, but Selene knew that little ever went by him.

“For how long will she be whining?” Selene’s fingers dipped in the bowl she was still holding and licked the golden liquid from her fingers. Immediately every sense in her body became extra aware of her surroundings. An overload of information, which she normally ignored, flooded her senses and reported to her brain. Unlike Shivani though, she could take it easily.

“It is quite.. Strong. The first two full moon turns will be essential. If she doesn’t go through them, she’ll die.”

Yannick was walking through the snow. In one hand he held a spear, in the other his fur hat. Behind him walked George, Soraya and Debany. For once, they planned to hunt a little farther from their main camp than usual. They were in unknown territory and though he had his rather sharp hunting spear clutched in his hand, his gun was safely tugged in his pocket; close to his other hand. After all, you never knew in those lands. though the cold itself was most likely the biggest and deadliest enemy.

“We shouldn’t go too far, Yannick. Wouldn’t want to get lost and have to spent the night in the open,” Debany said wisely from behind him. Yannick silently agreed, but felt a slight twitch of annoyance because she stated something so obvious. It wasn’t like this was the first time they went hunting. So he huffed. “You don’t say…” he replied grumpily and started walking a little faster.
