Anyway, it was kind of really fun to write this chappie. Especially the new guy I introduced ;D I love him already :')

Anyhooo, I ended with a *gasp* cliffhanger! I know, I never do that.. but I wanted to do something new for a change.  I think the next upload will be a little bit sooner, because I love this twist. Kind of. Too bad my best friend is asleep otherwise I could've bounced the idea off of her, but she doesnt F answer. But thats alright :')

You guys just have to wait ;D

“I don’t think we can handle it this time, Conry..”

Rafe stopped in his tracks and listened to the voice of the beta of his pack, Lyall. His voice sounded worried, tinged with despair. It almost sounded like pleading.

“Be silent,” Conry growled. “This is not a matter to discuss. I will never give in. Not to them.”

A shiver ran down Rafe’s spine. What were they talking about?

“But.. Think about the others! They will be the ones to die, Conry. Be reasonable.”

Conry snarled. “There will be no further discussion on this matter, you hear me?! I will never give in to them, nor will I ever lose. Don’t worry.” “But will it be worth the price you’ll have to pay?” Lyall softly asked. The sound of crashing commenced and Lyall let out a loud yelp. No doubt he had been struck by Conry for his insolence. It was silent for a few minutes. “Go,” Conry silently ordered him.

The door creaked open and Lyall crawled out of it, half of his face bloodied by the fist of his alpha. Their eyes met for a moment, then Rafe quickly averted his eyes.

Lyall struggled to his feet and stumbled, then righted himself with help of the wall. “You better watch out, kiddo. He ain’t in a good mood today.” Rafe nodded quickly, then made a move to help him. Lyall waved him off however, saying: “I’m not that weak yet, kid.”

Rafe stopped in his tracks and watched helplessly as Lyall stumbled along the wall, his feet still unsteady from the blow to his head that had given him without a doubt some brain damage.

“Rafe,” Conry said from behind him. He whirled around and stood face to face to a very angry looking alpha. Conry frowned lightly, but didn’t say anything for a moment. “The training session for the next few weeks will be canceled. Go train yourself or ask one of the older wolves to help you.” With that, Conry turned around and walked back into the room he had just vacated.

Rafe watched Lyall as he was washing his face. A long scar ran down on one side of his face, giving him a ragged, dangerous look. His arms were thick and as hard as steel. His hair was military short, his attitude menacing, dangerous, not to mock with. Yet he had been struck down with one blow.

“What do you want, kid?” he asked, while turning off the water and grabbing a washcloth. Rafe kept silent and kept on studying the man before him.

Finally he answered. “Can you help me train?” Lyall started laughing, threw the towel to the side and barged around him. “Maybe when you’re older,” he laughed. Rafe turned around and followed him silently, not saying anything. He stalked him into the living room, out to the garden, all the way towards the center of town. Finally Lyall whirled around.
