|| Chapter One: Everything You Need To Know On You ||
The first thing you should know before reading anything, is your skin type and your facial shape. They affect your hair, your makeup and the products you use on your hair, body and face.

Knowing your skin type is fairly easy. You usually have either:
-oily skin (shiny, slippery, greasy)
-dry skin (flaky, delicate, sometimes itchy and red)
-regular (none of the above, just normal)
Each skin type is maintained in different ways. I personally have oily skin, so it tends to get greasy on my forehead, nose and chin area. I went to see a skin expert, and he told me that's normal for young girls.
If you have oily skin, I recommend cleansing it on a daily basis to keep it under control. But careful! Don't clean it too much or scrub it too hard, or it might cause the skin to go dry!
If you have dry skin, a good solution is to get a product that moisturizes your skin. You should also be very gentle, because your skin is very delicate!
If you have normal skin, I would probably clean it every day to keep it nice and healthy, but you don't need any special products.

Your facial shape is an important thing to know for your everyday life. Based on the way you're shaped, you can choose makeup and hairstyles that will look better on you.

Types of facial shapes;
-heart
-diamond
-oval
-long
-round
-square
If you don't know which one you have, you can either look in the mirror and try to see which one resembles your sructure, or you can ask someone you know to tell you.
A trick I've heard of is to tie your hair up so that your facial shape is visible, and outline the shape of your face in the mirror. After that's done, it might help you see your facial shape.
