POTIONS, EPISODES AND BUSTED SECRETS

LIZZIE BLACK WAS HAPPILY WALKING to her first potions lesson, Ron and Harry next to her, not even the slightest bit excited, unlike Lizzie, who was practically skipping the whole way.

She'd always been interested in Potions, wanting to be able to make her own Wolfsbane potion for her uncle, and not buy it for him all the time which he appreciated, but didn't like.

He didn't want her to "waste" her money on him, even though it was a heritage that had been collected by the Black family over centuries and it was more than most people could ever imagine.

She could buy him enough Wolfsbane Potion to last a life time and wouldn't even notice the loss of that amount of galleons.

The potions classroom was down in the dungeons, cold and dark, slightly creeping Lizzie out, courtesy of the pickled animals that were floating in glass jars all around the walls.

Severus Snape, their potions teacher, turned out to be the depressed emo man from the evening before.

Lizzie could understand why the classroom was in the cold, dark dungeon, now.

Her teacher, who was obviously a vampire, had to hide from the sun so he wouldn't die.

Snape started the lesson by taking the register, making sure to pause at two names.

One of them, being Lizzie.

"Elizabeth Black, ah, yes."
He drawled out and Lizzie gulped slightly as all eyes were suddenly on her.

She got a feeling that her teacher didn't like her and her eyes widened slightly as she realised who exactly he was.

She'd heard stories of him.

His name was another, though.

Snivellus.

Oh, you've got to be kidding me.

This man was gonna hate her.

"I do hope you have control over your inherited anger, or else we'll have to bear with a few muggles less, and destruction everywhere. And let's not forget to hope that you have the manners your father never had."

His voice was cold, his eyes gleaming with hatred and the Slytherins snickered at his words while her cheeks reddened and her own eyes practically burst with angry tears, yet she didn't let them fall.

Both Harry and Ron, were heatedly glaring at their teacher for embarrassing the girl like that, even if they didn't fully understand.

No one would ever fully understand, they weren't allowed to, she couldn't let them.
She thought, her eyes still glistening with unshed tears, her frustration building up.

Lizzie hated being a frustrated crier.

Thankfully, Snape seemed to have enough of embarrassing her, for now.

It wasn't that he compared her impulsive anger to her father's.

Or that he practically told her she'd end up being evil and killing muggles just like her Dad had.

It was about the knowledge he had, of the things he'd said.

Her inherited anger and the destruction she'd cause.

He knew.

Of course, he knew.

Every teacher knew, as a safety precaution, and so they wouldn't wonder where she was, if she didn't appear to a lesson.
