17. Quack

I sat down on the couch and stared off into space.

"ADRIANNA" Ryan yelled in my face.

I turned my gaze to him.

"We need to get to the hospital" he said.

I stood up and followed them out to my car. Ronnie drove, Ryan, Juliet, and Derek sat in the back, and I sat passenger. I had my knees pulled up to my chest and my head buried in them. I just sat there. I didn't cry. I didn't speak. I just sat.

We pulled up to the hospital and ran inside.

"We're here for Jacky Vincent, Aaron Carter, Derek Jones, and Dannii Faller" Ronnie said to the lady behind the desk.

"Aaron and Jackson are currently in the ICU. No visitors allowed. Daniela and Derek are in the waiting room over there" she said and pointed to the left.

Dannii was curled into a ball crying. Derek had his arm around her shoulder trying to comfort her. Seeing her cry made me start to tear up. Ryan wrapped his arm around my shoulder in a brotherly way.

"What the hell happened?" Ron said.

"Jacky was driving down the highway and a semi was speeding and swerved into our lane so Jacky pulled off to the side of the road. He lost control and drove off the road and that's all I can remember" Derek said.

I wiped the tears from my eyes and sat next Dannii and closed my eyes. We sat in the waiting room for hours. It was ten in the morning when the lady told us we could see Jacky and Aaron. Dannii and I went to see Aaron first. The doctor told us he was asleep but he would probably wake up soon. I sat next to his bed and grabbed his hand. His eyes fluttered open.

"Adrianna?" He mumbled.

"Oh god Aaron. Don't ever do this to me again" I said and buried my head in his chest.

"What happened?" He asked.

"We crashed. You have a broken arm and you hit your head pretty hard" Dannii said as she sat next to his bed.

"Is everyone alright?" He panicked.

"You and Jacky got the worst. They guys and Juliet are with Jacky right now. We don't know his condition yet" Dannii said.

"Go see him" Aaron said.

"But what about you?" I asked.

"I'll stay here with him" Dannii said.

"Okay. Buzz the doctor and let him know Aaron's awake" I told Dannii as I kissed Aaron's head then walked to the door.

I walked to Jacky's room and stood outside the door.

'I hope he's okay' I thought to myself.

I opened the door and found Ronnie, Ron, Derek, Ryan, and Juliet each sitting in a chair. Ronnie had his head in his hands. Juliet was sitting in Ryan's lap with tears in her eyes. My heart dropped at the sight. Jacky had bandages wrapped around his head and his torso. He had a black cast on his right arm and right leg. Cuts and bruises covered his body and he looked deathly pale.

Ronnie lifted his head to look at me.

"H-he's in a coma" he whispered.

My mouth dropped and tears overflowed my eyes. I turned around and ran down the hall. I ran outside and found myself in a park next to the hospital. There were a few little kids running around the playground. I sat on one of the swings and wiped my tears.

"What's wrong miss?" A little voice asked me.

I opened my eyes to find a little boy standing in front of me. He had jet black hair and grey eyes.
