Rosie's P.O.V.
I pecked Jacks lips as we said goodbye in my dorm room. He went out first and I waited five minutes before exiting my room and headed for my first class of the day. As I walked I started to think about how I was going to break things off with Oliver. We weren't together but we're kind of a thing. I just didn't want to hurt him. He was so sweet and only deserved the best. I thought about ghosting him but I realized I'd be no better then Jack in the past. Oliver deserves to know that I'm not interested in pursuing things with him. I would hope he would do the same for me.I feel bad that I can't tell him the truth about Jack but I don't want Jack to miss his opportunity with Sigma Chi. I don't think Oliver would take it out on Jack if he knew mine Jacks background but I didn't want to take the chance. I feel that you don't actually know someone until they're hurt. I took my seat in class and got prepared for my professors discussion of the day. My phone started to buzz more then normal.
Jack: you look really cute in class
Jack: How does one look so good studying?
I look up to see Jack sitting in the top row of my class smiling at me.
'Shouldn't you be in class Mr. Gilinsky? ;)'
Jack: my professor didn't show. So free period ;)
Jack: lets go have fun?
'What about my class?'
Jack: whatever you want to do baby but I'll be waiting outside if you decide you'd rather have fun.
I sat and debated hard whether to stay in class and soak up all this knowledge or hang out with Jack and his perfect white smile. I asked the girl next to me if I could borrow her notes tomorrow because I wasn't feeling good. She agreed with a smile. I hurriedly grabbed my stuff and quietly walked to the door exiting the classroom. Jacks smiled widen as he watched me walked down the stairs to him.
"Wow Rosie has a bad girl side. I bet you haven't ditched class since the one time senior year." He laughed.
"Oh so what!" I laughed and nudged Jack a little. "So what are plans?" I ask.
"Well my love that's for me to know and you to find out." He smiles and grabs my hand interlocking our fingers.
We walked to the parking lot and got into Jacks car. We had the windows rolled all the way down letting the amazing breeze flow in to the car as the sun shined onto my face. It was one the most peaceful rides of my life.
"We're here!" Jack smiled as we pulled into a parking space at the arcade.
"Oooooh I'm about to whoop your ass at some laser tag!" I cheered as I pulled Jack across the lot.
"What are you staring at?" I asked Jack as I noticed the huge smile on his face.
"I love you." Jack said pulling me in. It felt so long since I've heard those words. My stomach was acting like a gymnast in a gymnasium as he started at me.
"And I love you." I said cupping his face placing a romantic peck on his lips.
"By the way your ass is Definitely going down at laser tag!" Jack joker as we entered the arcade.
Running around the arcade like a child with Jack was probably the best part of my day. Being with Jack was like having a little piece of home with me at college. It was very comforting.
"Hey I have to meet up with Andrew something to do with the frat." Jack said sadly.
"Okay will you drop me off at the cafe. I'm suppose to be meeting Oliver there to you know." Jack shakes his head yes and grabs my hand leading me to the car and opening my door for me.
I gave Jack a quick kiss goodbye as he was dropping me off at the cafe.
"Wait. One more." Jack whined for another kiss which I granted.
Oliver waived me over as I entered the cafe.
"I got your favorite iced coffee." He smiles and I smile back saying thank you.
"So what did you want to talk about?" He ask.
"Um I think we um.." my breath hitched in my throat trying to think of the right thing to say.
"You're trying to say we should stop seeing each other and I think you're right." I was surprised at his reaction. He must have noticed my facial expressions and continued.
"I graduate this year and you still have two more years. I'm not sure if I'm ready for a serious relationship and I don't want to hold you back in college once I do leave UCLA. I don't want to stop being your friend though! I enjoyed all the time we spent together!" He smiled.
"Oh my god I am so relieved. You're such an amazing person and I was so scared to break your heart or feelings!" I said releasing all the air I was holding in.
"You're a beautiful women Rose inside and out! I don't think I could ever have any bad feelings towards you." His words made me smile wide.
"Thank you. I could say the same thing about you." I say and look down at the time.
"Hey am I keeping you from something with Sigma Chi? Isn't there a fundraiser or something?" I ask.
"Tonight? No we don't have one till this weekend." My stomach turns in a harsh way like it used to.
Hey are you almost done?
I text Jack curious on what he would say but my phone remained silent for the next hour I spent talking about charity events with Oliver. I decide to walk home and clear my head of why Jack would lie to me about doing something with his fraternity. I decide to take the path that puts me strolling right past Sigma Chi house. I noticed Jacks car in the driveway right away which gave me some relief at least he didn't lie to me about where he was at. Maybe I was overreacting in the first place. I felt embarrassed that I thought he was lying to me was my first thing to come across my mind.
"Rosie!" I hear hi voice call out to me.
I turn to see him coming down the house stairs and jogging towards me.
"Where are you going?" He ask.
"Back to my dorm. I'm tired and need to study." I breath and he wraps his arms around me and caress my butt.
"Can I stay with you?" He ask sweetly as he starts pecking my lips.
"Of course." I say and we intertwine our fingers together and take off towards my dorm.
