Beverly's pov

-

Her smile, God I loved her smile. The way her lips lifted upward. The way her one dimple crinkled. The way her teeth were perfectly aligned. The warm glow her happiness gave off. Her smile was a ray of sunshine, and I was a sunburn.

The giggles rolled out of her like the waves on a long shallow beach. They seemed to disappear for a while only to build up and break to the surface once more. Her giggled always made me melt.

Her eyes were mosaics, forgotten to be appreciated for their beauty in contrast to the green of spring. They're heaven and earth in an eternal bond. They're the glow of crystalline waters, glacial melt hues to light a the fire within you, the warmth of cocooning hugs after days of longing. I could go on and on for hours about the things I loved about Aquamarine.

My fingers reached up to cup her soft skin, I never understood how a person could feel so gentle.

The second my skin touched hers, that smile that I loved so much appeared once again, taking my breath away.

"You're so beautiful" I whispered

"Thank you, but you're beautifuler" She smirked, I almost rolled my eyes

She never failed to turn the sweetest moments back towards me, everytime I tried to compliment her she'd spin it around. Sometimes I wanted to choke her out right then and there but I loved her too much.

"That's not a word" I chuckled

"It is now" She said

"Oh really?" I giggled

"Uh huh" she whispered, her soft lips hovered over mine

"Can... Can we stay like this forever?" I whispered, a smile pulled across her lips as she shook her head

"Unfortunately, we can't" she said

"Why not?" I asked, my fingers grazed against her soft cheek. Somehow it felt different, almost as if it was just a fantasy

"Because this isn't real" she said

"What's not real?" I asked

Aqua chuckled softly and cupped my cheeks, her soft thumb stroked my skin so softly. A few strands of her raven black hair fell onto the sides of my face, tickling my nose. I giggled softly when her lips pressed against my forehead

"Wake up babygirl" she whispered, I furrowed my brows

"Wake up?" I asked

"Wake up" she said, her voice sounded different this time.

Her touch was starting to fade, it was as if her smile was disappearing and her touched felt hallow

"Wake up" she said once again, this time it wasn't her voice

"Wake up" the voice said even deeper

------

"Wake up" Allie's voice rang through my ear

My eyes slowly fluttered open to reveal a red hair girl who's eyes were dripping.

"oh God, Beverly!" She breathed out, her hands clutched mine tightly as her head fell onto my chest

"She's awake!" Josie yelled

Wait, Where the heck am I?

My eyes glanced around to see white walls and a mint green floor, it was cold. Way too cold. A soft beeping came from above, I glanced to my arm and noticed there was a tube stuck into my veins. I hissed at the sight.
