Chp5:The between

ANIMAGUS:is a witch or wizard with the rare ability to transform into a particular animal at will. Or can be cursed to shift. Often miss taken to be a werewolf. ANIMAGUS can normal take shape in to something that they fare the most to over come it or be taken by it. They often have powers but a few have little to now, they was once hunted and believed to have came from a line of unknow power. Believe to be only 70 left, and only 15 out of the 70 are to be female. Hunted more because of the fur and blood said to hold more power then the males. Many families to have the trait have been in hiding or have formed their own pack or have died out.

The next few days I stayed home to let everything die down, and it did a lot.  People started moving on about the lasts gossip about Bryan and Josie being the cutest couple. About Noah and Q finally coming out about the feeling for each other, and how Jayden and Taylor May have broke up. After telling them about my gift or the little I have heard or could find, I could change at my own will but my mother wasn't okay with this. We moved at lot for her work and to keep my secret. I made them promise not to tell anyone, saying they had secrets of there own and understand. I had to tell them loads of stress bring it on,but how not shifting can also trigger it. They keep pushing for more, but Tyler was the one who shut everything down and disappeared after that night leaving everyone confused.

I hear a knock as I jump up and run to the door  opening it. "Jaden? Are you okay?" I open the door more for him to come in as he wipes his face. "Yeah just Taylor. Is all." I shut the door as we walk in the living room, I sit on the couch as he sits beside me. "I was about to watch a movie." I shrug a little as he nods, he lays his head in my lap as we start watching the first Saw movie. I play with his hair lightly, when I hear the door open. "Blair honey." I look over as she walks in seeing us. "What's this?" My eyes widen as Jayden sits up. "Mom..this is.." Jaden gets up walking to over to her putting his hand out.
"I'm  Jaden..Jaden Hossler." She looks at me then at Jaden taken his hand. "Are you two." She looks at me then at Jaden, he smiles shaking his hand. "No..mom jazz." She let's go if his hand nodding. "We're just  best friends..me and my boyfriend." My mom smiles  Walking to the kitchen, I follow  her into the kitchen as she stops at the inland. "What are you doing home?" She looks to the living room seeing Jaden  sitting on the couch with his phone.  "I got a phone call from the school, and from Mrs.Gray. School said you haven't been there in a few days, so I called Mrs.Gray." I look down bitting my lip, slowly then back up. I couldn't tell her about me slipping and I couldn't tell her how they seen me changing. "Mom..I.."  I hear foot steps beside as I looked at Jaden. "It was my fault Mrs. St.Clair..I've been going through a lot..not just with my boyfriend but at home." He looks from her to me. "She skipped school to make sure I was okay after not answering the phone." My mom looks at me. "Well..just no more skipping school, the both of you." She pulls out her phone and smiles. "I need to call work and after I'll order us some pizza..Blair doesn't bring her friends home." She smile walking over to me kissing my head. "I'm just happy she has a friend." She goes to walk out but stops. "Jaden, if you need somewhere to stay for a few days. Just let us know." He smiles and nods, he bits his lip letting out a small sigh. "What's happening at home?" He looks at me then down. "My parents aren't happy with me, you know dating someone..who's also a boy." I pull him into a hug, he wraps his arms around me hugging me tight. "That's why Taylor.." I feel him nod as his hug gets tighter. "It's okay JJ..like my mom said, you can stay here. It'll be nice to have someone around while my moms gone."

The rest of the night was calm , we eat  pizza and talked. Mostly my mom asking thousands of questions about  how it's been since she left. "It's been good mom, really. Taken my meds going to school,  hanging with this one." I bump Jaden as he smiles  looking at me. "That's good baby I'm just happy this place is working out for us." I look at my mom biting my lip. "How's work?" She shrugs taken a sip of her wine. "I'm only home for a day or two,  I was just making sure everything was going good."  I see her phone light up, she looks at it flipping it over quickly. "Who's that?" She shakes her head, smiling. "It's no one." She looks at me raising and eyebrow, I look at Jaden then back at her. "Okay." She looks at the time. " well I'm tired, so I'm going to head to bed..Blair can you clean up after your down." I nod as she says goodnight to the both of us.  I pull out my phone and see a text from Q about a party, I show Jaden bitting my lip. "Should we?" He smiles nodding. "It's up to you, I'd just have to stop home and get changed." I bit my lip nodding. "Help me get ready?" We run up to my room, I stop by my moms door hearing her on The phone. I open it slightly before she opens it jumping back. "Lord Blair you scared me. Are you okay?" I nod  bitting my lip. "I..can we go to this party, I'm not drinking or anything. Just Jaden and some of our friends are there and." She touches my cheek and smiles. "Go have fun, if you need a ride or anything you can call me. No drinking or drugs." I hug her right and smiles, this was the first time actually hugging my mom and feeling her warmth. It's been harm for us since my dad, its been hard for both of us. My dad was the more fun outgoing, free spirited type and my mom was more rough around the edges. "Mom?..if you want to see someone, you can. I know your lonely and I know they won't replace dad, and you give up a lot for me." She kisses the top of my head and I feel her relaxed even more. "Thank you baby, now go have fun..both you."
