AG carefully shuffled down the stairs with a tired Anna clutching onto her, Anna's legs wrapped around AG's waist and her head nuzzled in her neck.

"I've been dreading this day for forever." Anna mumbled, AG feeling her lips brush against her skin.

"Me too," AG said back quietly, her arms secured around Anna as she walked into the kitchen. "Three hours to go."

She gently placed Anna onto the island, standing in between her legs and pulling back to look at her with attentive eyes.

AG peeked to the left, seeing that Anna had had the coffee maker ready, an empty mug waiting next to it just waiting to be filled.

She gave Anna a grateful smile. "You made coffee for me?"

"Yeah, I did." Anna smiled in return.

"You know me so well," AG said, giving Anna's thighs a light squeeze before making her way to the coffee maker. "Thanks, bub."

"You're welcome." Anna cheerily replied, watching AG as she poured creamer into her mug filled with caffeine.

She opened the fridge and threw Anna a Bang energy drink, Anna catching it swiftly and saying thanks.

AG took a sip of her hot coffee, her taste buds already used to the scorching feel. "I'm gonna miss it here. Obviously because you're here, but I'm gonna miss it here in general too."

"What's there to miss really? There isn't really anything fun you can do in Michigan."

"Kentucky is worse, trust me." AG winced as she took another gulp of coffee. "All my internet friends live in different states, most of my friends at home are going to college, and it's too fucking green everywhere."

"I see," Anna chuckled, mentally slapping herself for thinking what she was about to say. "Does that mean there are a lot of horse girls?"

AG snorted, her mug in one hand and her body leaning against the counter, her hand wrapped around her own waist. "There are some actually, not gonna lie."

"I'm glad that living there hasn't turned you into one." Anna laughed, taking a large sip from her can.

AG's body shook in silent laughter. "Nah, I can't be changed. I'm my own person. My entire school and teachers know I'm comfortable in my own skin, and some of them hate that about me."

"Haters gonna hate, but they're just missing out." Anna simply replied.

"Of course they're missing out, not to sound conceited or anything, but I think I'm a pretty good friend."

"Good would be an understatement," Anna snorted, giving AG an incredulous look. "You would let yourself get hurt if it meant that it'd protect your friends and close ones. And that sounds pretty fucking amazing to me."

AG blushed, giving Anna a wide grin as she cheeks turned pink. "Thank you...and that does sound pretty accurate to me."

"I know it does." Anna responded, sending a subtle smirk at AG before crushing her can after finishing its contents.
