Part 7

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        Daniel ran to the living room, seeing the front door was free. As he ran to open the door, a force pushed him back. It was, of course, the Ghost of Mary Jane. He growled as he looked up at her, her white hair flowing past her hips, her white blood-stained dress flowing past her feet as she floated a few inches off the ground, her eyes like a black void. He shot up, trying to go towards the vacuum. He had only seen this move on fictional movies, but it was worth a shot. He turned the vacuum on high speed as he angrily ran towards her. She let out a very loud, high-pitched scream as she floated even further up. "This is what happens when you mess with Daniel!" he yelled as he stretched his arm to reach the pale woman. She screeches as she takes control of every sharp object in the room and fling them at him, causing Daniel to quickly jump out the way, losing his grip on the vacuum. She takes control of that, as well, and points everything at Daniel. As he lays helplessly on the ground, sitting up a little only on his elbow, he looks into the eyes of death, the eyes that killed all his other friends. "ANY LAST WORDS?" Mary Jane's voice boomed all around the house. Daniel thought, then spoke, "A question. Why are you so angry? I mean, if my property was invaded, I would be upset too, but you're dead. Why do you care so much about this house?"
        Mary Jane had a different glow in her eyes Daniel had noticed. She almost appeared....depressed? She then began to wail, losing control of everything she was holding and dropping it, the items falling very close to Daniel. "MY BOYFRIEND CHEATED ON ME AND HAD ANOTHER GIRL.....IN OUR BEDROOM IN THIS HOUSE. I HAD A BABY COMING, BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE IT WITH HIM. SO I KILLED THEM BOTH AND THEN....I KILLED MYSELF. MY BABY WAS NOT EVEN A MONTH OLD. THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO SEE THE WORLD AND THAT'S MESSED UP. I JUST AM SO UPSET AND FILLED WITH RAGE!!!!!" She screams at the top of her lungs, too much for Daniel's ears as the drums in them burst. He yells as he removes his hand from his ears slowly, examining his hand, which were full of blood. Mary Jane gasped, as she flew over and used her ghostly charm to heal his ears. The pain slowly eased away as Daniel opens his eyes and looks at her and his eyes lit up. She was now a tall, beautiful, colorful woman. Instead of her drooping long white hair, in place was now her curly brown hair. Instead of her black voids as eyes, now were blue crystals in place. Then there was her dress. Instead of the white, blood-stained dress, was a beautiful, colorful, strapless dress that went down to the knee, with matching jewelry and high heels. She had on light make-up, but even without it, she was simply beautiful. Daniel couldn't take his eyes off of her. She looked at herself in a nearby mirror and she was filled with joy. She cried tears of happiness as she rose Daniel off the ground and hugged him. "Thank you so much for your help. I was put under a curse and didn't know how to break it, but you have. I am sorry about your friends though. I can't believe myself." She whispered in his ear. Daniel hadn't thought of them. Until now. Tears formed in his eyes as he thought of Arketa's words: Avenge me. The woman heard his thought and understood. "Here." the woman said as she passed him a dagger. "Wha-" He was cut off. "Your friend told you to avenge her so, this is what you have to do. I understand." Daniel took in a sharp breath as he took the dagger in his hand, examining the blade. "I can't. That's MURDER!" Daniel yelled at the woman. "I'm a ghost. You can still kill me, but it's not murder. My spirit with then go to Heaven for a test, which I won't pass considering what I've done, so go right ahead." Daniel closed his eyes as he stabbed the midair, then she was gone, just as fast as she came. Just like that. That was when he started. Daniel began praying like never before, hoping God would understand and take Mary Jane in. He hoped for a sigh that everything was alright. His friends. Mary Jane. Everything. He then exited the house. He saw a glisten above him. he looked up to see a star, shining brighter than ever. He took that as God's way of telling him everything was O.K.. He continued on in life, as his friends would have wanted it. He told their story, and never let them die in ANYONE'S memory. He also, made sure to never forget about Mary Jane and never let the house be destroyed in any way. He also lived his life praying and appriciating everything.
