It was the next day and Ava woke up with Crawford's arm draped over her waist. She rolled over to see him still fast a sleep, but it didn't take long before she felt like she was going to throw up. She flew out of the bed and into their en-suite bathroom, the movement waking Crawford up also. As if on cue, Ava threw up in the toilet.
Crawford ran in behind her, worried filled over his face as he saw her throwing up. He immediately came to her aid and held her hair back as she finished up.
"Thank you" she muttered, standing up and going to the sink to brush her teeth after she flushed the chain.
"Is that the first time this has happened?" He questioned her curiously, leaning against the doorframe as he watched her.
"Actually throwing up yeah, but not my first time feeling the morning sickness" she replied.
"You okay?" Crawford questioned her after a moment of silence.
"Yep, it's just something I gotta get used to" she told him.
"I think we should tell JC and Chelsea today" Crawford told her, not wanting to keep it from his roommates for much longer. Ava nodded in response as she brushed her teeth. Crawford waited for her to finish up before letting her speak again.
"We gotta talk to them about living situations as well" she told him, brushing past him and walking back into their bedroom.
"What do you mean?" He asked her in confusion, following closely behind her.
"Well, our contract on this house is 12 months but in 8 months we'll have a baby. Corey, JC and Chelsea might not want a baby to live here meaning we're gonna have to find a place of our own for when the baby is born" she told him softly, thinking ahead and respectfully for her roommates.
"Yeah you're right. I guess it's just something we gotta talk to them about" he nodded, throwing on a hoodie over his T-shirt and some black joggers.
"We gotta film their reactions though, I'm documenting this whole experience" she smiled at her boyfriend sheepishly, causing a small grin to appear on his face.
"Let's go" he chuckled softly. Ava beamed from ear to ear and grabbed her camera before galloping out of the room, Crawford following closely behind.
"FAMILY MEETING!" Ava yelled as she ran into the living room, making both JC and Chelsea jump from their spots at the kitchen counter.
"Why?" JC questioned, furrowing his eyebrows together as he stared at the brunette.
"We gotta talk to you guys about something important, where's Corey?" Ava asked, scanning the room and noticing he wasn't there.
"Sleeping" Chelsea shrugged.
"I'll go wake him" Crawford said before heading back down the hallway and to Corey's room.
Seeing as they had just recently moved in, they hadn't yet fixed up their code locks so anyone could walk into anyone's room, which is exactly what Crawford did.
"Yo! Get up! House meeting, Ava and I gotta talk to you guys" Crawford told him, standing in the middle of the room as Corey rolled over angrily.
"I already know what you're gonna say, let me sleep!" He complained.
"No there's so much more to it, get up!" Crawford yelled, pulling Corey's duvet off of him.
"Bro seriously, I'll punch you in the head" Corey groaned, yanking his duvet back in anger. Crawford started laughing before heading for the doorway.
"Meet you on the couch!" He told his best friend before disappearing.
Corey groaned and pushed the covers off of himself before throwing on a hoodie and some joggers. He entered the living room to see Ava and Crawford stood in front of the couch where JC and Chelsea were sat.
"Good you're here! Now sit." Ava told him excitedly, pointing at the couch. Corey held his hands up in defence before slumping on the end of the couch beside JC.
"We gotta record this so watch what you say" Ava Warned them before pushing the record button on her vlogging camera and grinning in front of them.
"What's going on..." JC asked awkwardly, grinning slightly as he felt weird from the situation.
"We have something really important to tell y'all" Crawford spoke, looking between the three of them.
"What is it?" Chelsea chuckled slightly.
Crawford looked over at Ava, signifying she could be the one to share the news.
"I'm pregnant" the brunette beamed at her friends, standing beside Crawford.
Chelsea gasped and threw her hand over her mouth whilst JC simply allowed his mouth to drop. Corey on the other hand sarcastically went "yay" because he still wasn't impressed he had been woken up to be told something he already knew.
"Are you serious? Like, for real?!" JC questioned, still allowing his mouth to just form an O shape after talking.
Ava and Crawford nodded, chuckling slightly as the smiled from ear to ear.
"B-but how?! I thought-" Chelsea started, looking between her two friends in disbelief.
"Miracle baby" Ava shrugged, laughing lightly.
"Oh my gosh- congratulations!" Chelsea cheered, standing up and hugging Ava first. JC copied her gesture and hugged Crawford before they swapped over.
"Dude cheer the fuck up" JC laughed at Corey, noticing how he remained on the sofa.
"Nah it's cool he already knew, he's just mad I woke him up for this" Crawford laughed.
"How did you know?" Chelsea questioned him as her and JC sat back down.
"Ava told me before she took the test that she thought she might be and then I took her for her first scan yesterday with Colby and Franny so that it was definite news for when she told Crawford" he explained. The couple nodded understandingly.
"This is insane" Chelsea breathed out.
"You're gonna have a baby. Like legit" JC nodded, looking his two friends in the eyes.
"Crazy" Corey spoke as the soon to be parents nodded in agreement.
Ava switched the camera off so that the private conversation could continue.
"We wanted to talk about living arrangements" Crawford sighed.
"What do you mean?" Corey furrowed his eyebrows together.
"Well we're not gonna be surprised if y'all don't want to live with w crying baby for four months before our lease on this place is up so we don't mind moving out before the baby is born..." Crawford explained.
"Hell no" Chelsea shook her head immediately.
"Are you guys insane?" JC laughed.
Ava and Crawford stared at them in confusion.
"You're staying" JC laughed.
"Besides, I'm sure you'll want help for the first few months anyways" Chelsea convinced them.
Ava looked over at Crawford, smiling brightly.
"I guess we're staying" Ava smiled.
