The roommates remained sat in the living room, discussing the news Ava and Crawford had just shared. Ava and Crawford were on one couch, whilst Corey, JC and Chelsea were on the other.
"So what are your plans for telling everyone else?" Chelsea questioned them. Crawford looked over at Ava, not even knowing the answer to that question himself.
"Well I'm only six weeks pregnant so far and it's recommended not to tell people until the 10-12 week mark. I want to tell our families ASAP instead of waiting but I think we should tell the rest of the group after my next scan which will be around the 10-12 weeks." Ava explained, looking over at Crawford to see what he thought on the situation.
Crawford nodded.
"Yeah that sounds like a good idea really. Yo let me call Chris and see what his plans are today, if he's free we can go over to his place and FaceTime the rest of my family to tell them altogether?" He suggested.
"Yeah, isn't Kirsten in LA at the moment? Ask her to meet us at his place" Ava told him.
Crawford nodded and stood up, going into their bedroom to call his brother and sister.
Ava remained in the living room with her roommates who still stared at her in disbelief.
"This is actually insane" JC laughed.
Ava laughed also and felt her cheeks heat up slightly.
"You're going to have a baby" Chelsea added in disbelief. Ava nodded.
"It still hasn't quite sunk in for me yet either" she laughed sheepishly.
"Uncle Corey" Corey commented, nodding with a smirk as he thought of the name.
"Good to see you've finally woken up Cor" Ava jokes, Corey glared at her before flipping her off and heading to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast.
"So wait, when's the due date again?" JC questioned.
"September 29th" Ava told him.
"Near Kian's birthday" JC spoke.
"You're all gonna have to take some guesses on when you think the baby will be born and we'll have to see if anyone's right" Ava told them.
Saying this sparked an idea in Chelsea's head, causing her to gasp excitedly.
"You gotta have a gender reveal!" She squealed. Ava and JC laughed at the excitement.
"No for real. This could be your only chance at being pregnant, we gotta make the most of it!" Chelsea told her.
"I mean, she's not wrong" JC agreed.
"True" Ava nodded.
"When would you know the gender?" Chelsea asked.
"Anytime from 13-16 weeks" Ava shrugged.
"Still a while then" Chelsea poured.
"I'm telling you now, I think it's a boy" JC spoke smugly, insisting he's right.
"Well I think it's a girl" Chelsea sassed, hoping she was right.
Ava laughed and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Yo we should make you do those old wives tales thingys before you find out the gender, we can do it for a video!" Corey Called from the kitchen.
"Yoooo that's actually not a bad idea" JC laughed excitedly.
"I'm down" Ava shrugged, chuckling lightly.
Crawford emerged back into the room, and Corey immediately bombarded him with his idea, in which Crawford agreed was perfect for the CnC channel.
"So what did Chris and your family say?" Ava asked her boyfriend as he joined Corey in the kitchen.
"We're getting there for 12, Kirsten will be there also" he told her. Ava nodded and stood up to get ready for the day.
Crawford remained with his roommates for a while, talking about his unborn child and how over the moon he felt when Ava told him the news.
An hour or so had passed and Crawford and Ava were both finally ready for the day and said goodbye to their roommates before heading out of the house and to Chris' apartment.
When they arrived, Kirsten was already there and the couple greeted the siblings with a hug hello.
"So...what's going on?" Chris laughed awkwardly, sitting down on the sofa beside his sister.
"Do me a favour and FaceTime mom?" Crawford told his brother. Chris furrowed his eyebrows but did exactly as Crawford said. Ava took the opportunity to take her vlogging camera out and hit record as she placed it on the counter top.
After a few rings, Stacey answered the phone and her face popped up on the phone screen.
"Hey what's up?" She asked her son.
"Crawford asked me to call you..." Chris said.
"Mom can you get dad and Karisma on the phone as well" Crawford spoke loudly for her to hear. Kirsten sat feeling just as confused also.
"Uhh sure" Stacey replied.
She gathered her husband and daughter to the phone and the three of them lingered in the shot of the FaceTime call.
"Okay, so we have some super important news for you all and just know we're so excited for this to happen and we've spoken about it all already. We just hope you guys feel just as excited for us..." Crawford began. They all remained silent, they simply stared at the couple in pure confusion, feelin clueless on what their news could be.
Ava smiled and sighed.
"I'm pregnant" she spoke.
Immediately, Kirsten gasped loudly and threw her hand over her mouth, Stacey doing the same.
"No way" Karisma spoke through the phone.
Chris and their dad remained silent with their mouths dropped to the floor.
"Are you guys serious right now?!" Kirsten asked, welling up slightly.
"Yep" Ava laughed and nodded.
"Oh my gosh congratulations!" Kirsten insisted, standing up and hugging the couple. Chris copied this gesture.
"But- but how? I thought-" he spoke confusedly, hugging Ava as he held his phone in his right hand.
"Miracle baby" Crawford grinned.
"Oh my gosh I'm gonna be a nana" Stacey cooed, allowing a few tears to drop from her eyes.
"I'm gonna be an auntie!" Karisma yelled.
"Congrats" their dad spoke.
"Ava what did your parents say?" Stacey questioned.
"They're next on the list to tell" Ava told her, taking chris' phone from his hands so that he didn't have to hold it up.
"When's the due date?" Chris asked.
"September 29th" Crawford spoke.
"I can't believe this, I'm so happy for y'all" Kirsten laughed.
