"Ryan what are U doing here" Andy said we could her voice shaking "I..you..you forgot your watch at my place" he said throwing it to her "oh.. thanks" "sure no problem, Wait did U sleep here?" He asked looking straight at Sullivan Andy was shaking right now and sweating god she didn't wanted him to know he was the one she slept with " no , I didn't ripley asked me to bring her some reports so that's what I did and she offered coffee that's why I'm here" "okay great , I was scared for a sec" he said slightly smiling, he turned around and made his way out "Ryan my key please , we're not together anymore U don't have the right to come in like that" "yeah right sorry" he give it to her and he left. Andy went back to sit with Robert "so he had a key?" " yeah well , I really like my private space but since he's my bestfriend it seemed normal to me" "right, so what are U planning to do on your day off?" "I don't know I have a pool in backyard like U know so I might go there" "that's cool" "what about U" she asked taking the last sip of her coffee "I don't know I might go on a run then relax at my place" " U could stay here , I have a pool who doesn't like swimming?" " I don't think U have shorts that fit me" " trust me I do , don't ask why tho , they were not used before don't worry" "alright I'll stay then" they both went in her room so she can give him shirts she went in the bathroom to change and he changed in the room , he was wearing navy blue shorts , and she was wearing a red bikini . "You're beautiful" he said to her as she got out of the bathroom "you're not to bad yourself , come on" she said they both went in the backyard Andy checked the temp to see if she was going in already or was waiting "your not going ?" He asked her " nah but U can go I'll just sit here" he jumped in the pool , it was a little bit cold but not that bad she was watching him do nothing in the pool, trying to run across the pool , do some acrobatics underwater Andy was having fun , just watching him having fun all by himself it made her smile she hasn't been this happy in a long time. Robert saw how happy she was so he was continue doing was he was doing his goal was for her to join but she didn't seem to want to "so when are U coming in , Your feet being in the water is not consider pool day" "I'm good here Robert but U look like your having fun" "yeah I mean" they both laughed at that and Robert took the opportunity to take her in his arm and bring her in the pool "Robert put me back where I was " to late your already wet" "I'm not your holding me" he let her fall into the pool "now your wet" "huh !" . She took an inflatable and layed on it Robert was dragging her around the pool . In round she was starting to get dizzy and him too "I think I'll stop turning" " yeah that's a good idea" he relaxed his arm beside Andy's body. They talked for hours about Robert and his old job , where he lived his wife him an Ripley , Andy learned a lot about ripely that's she didn't knew. Robert was a very different person at work and at home . At work he was hard worker , doesn't smile a lot , he's hard on people . And at home he was sweet caring , gentle and most importantly he was there to listen . She liked spending time with him and he liked spending time with her it was easy they understand each other they basically want the same thing it's easy. She was glad he agreed to just be just friends for now and if there's nothing happening later than she's gonna be happy too . Robert saw that Andy was zoomed out so he started splashing water at her "Robert stop" " I'm not gonna stop" they both were splashing water at each other until he turned her inflatable around so she fell in the water she went back to the surface and started to fight Robert , he is way taller and way stronger than her so he just held her in a kinda hug so she couldnt escape from him and at some point she stopped fighting cause she couldn't win she wouldn't be able too. As she stopped they both looked at each other his hands were on her back but they slowly dropped so he could hold her waist her hands were on his chest and were going up to his shoulder and up to his face they were getting closer and closer. Andy's phone started ringing it break their moments they both looked down " i better take this it might be work" "yeah.. " he said they both sounded disappointed. She got out and without hesitation he watched her get out her forms were perfect she was beautiful . He was brought back to reality when he heard Andy talk " chief what can I do for U?" " Herrera we need U on a scene it's a two fire alarm we need captains" " hug yeah sure I'm dressing getting my turnouts and I'm coming just text me the address" "thank U Herrera" "no problem sir I'll see U soon". Robert got out of the pool "what did he wanted?" "Two alarm fire I have to go they need me" "oh okay" "look U can leave whenever you want too, take your time okay" " yeah sure" she was going inside she ran upstairs to change in her uniform she was done two minutes later buttoning her shirt. " I have to go I'll see U soon alright" "yeah" he was disappointed but he knew she had to leave she didn't have a choice. She was about to open the door "Andy Wait!" "What?" She turned around , he grabbed her gently and gave her a small kiss it was soft and gentle it was perfect "now U can go" he said letting go of her that made Andy smile even more . She left and went to the fire sight Robert stayed at her place he was waiting for her to come back she had left him her keys in case he was leaving so she can lock the door . The fire was beast after an hour or two it got to a five alarm they all had to go there Robert left and headed straight to the station and he went with the team there they finished fighting it at 7 pm their shift was starting in two hours so they all decided to crash at the station , Andy couldn't stop thinking about Robert she was doing her paperwork in her office and she saw him go down at the reception and go up he left with an envelope . He went into his bunk and Ripley called him they were talking for a while , Andy was tired but she couldn't sleep she had so many things in her mind and first was her father they didn't talk about his health when they left the hospital and she could feel something was wrong. All the emotions rushed back into her and she decided to go see Robert. She knocked at his door and waited for him to open the door " just a sec luck someone knocked at my door". He opened it and he saw Andy with watery eyes in front of him she didn't say anything but he knew what she needed "hey Luke how about I call U later I need to go do some things" . He hanged up and took Andy in a hug and close the door behind her . "What happen is everything okay?" "Yeah I'm fine, just some thoughts and.. whatever it doesn't matter" " we can talk if you want too?" "No I just want to sleep but I can't sleep right now so do U think I can sleep here with U?" "Are U sure this is risky" " I'm sure" . He layed down on the bed on the side and she joined him , they were spooning, his door was locked so they were good , they slept like that until they got a call 3 hours later shift was started but people were still sleeping "that's us" she said to him " yeah" they both went and came back , when they pass the Beanery door the team was making breakfast " captain , Sullivan ! Do you guys want breakfast?" "Yeahh" Sullivan said " there's just a few things I need to do first I'll be up in 10". Andy left the office she slightly touched Sullivan arm and luckily no one saw it. She came back later with the rotation for aid car engine and ladder." Guys those are the next rotation , be sure to follow them please" she put a magnet over it on the fridge and sat with the team. "Guys me and Vic we went hiking yesterday and we saw maya and a lady that she called friend" " a new lady" Andy said looking at maya " what ?
