Complicated Love

Chapter 1

Katie's POV:

"You what I really hate you!!" I screamed at him through tears. "I'm sick of you beating on me like I'm your little punching bag! I'm done!"

"Oh yeah?!" He screamed in my face. Making me cry harder.

"Yeah, you always treat me like crap! You know what Luke said. You dont start treating me right he is gonna beat you. Im so calling him! You are in so much trouble!" I screamed at him with tears streaming down my face.

I ran to the bathroom and locked the door. So he couldn't get in. I pulled out my phone. I went to Luke's number.

"Hey Luke?" I asked through sobs.

"Hey Katie! How you been? Why are you crying?" He asked with concern.

"Not good.....he hit me in the face. Luke, i-it really hurts." I told him while crying.

"Ugh! God dang it!! Ill be right there!!" He said furious. He hung up. I sat there on he floor crying.

Then the door was busted down.

"Did you call Luke?" I looked at him. I was so upset.

"Yeah I did. You're in for a beating." He smirked at me.

"So are you." He picked me up and threw me into the bedroom. I sat up balling. God that hurt! He was coming towards me when he was shoved away.

Then the world went black.

Luke's POV:

I ran in. Katie was thrown across the hallway into the bedroom. I saw Jake. He was walking towards her when I shoved him. I ran to her, I picked her up bridal style and took her to the hospital. The whole way I was crying.

~at the hospital~

We were at the hospital for 5 hours and she still was awake. She was in a coma. I started to fall asleep. When I felt a hand go on my arm. My eyes bolted open.

She was awake!

I started to cry. I couldn't believe she was awake. Tears were forming in my eyes.

"K-Katie I thought you were de-dead. I can't loose you Katie. Please, be mine?" I asked with eyes full of tears. She nodded her head I was so happy.

"I bought you would never ask!" She said with a somewhat shaky voice. I smiled.i leaned down and kissed her. It felt like the Fourth of July was happening inside of me. It felt amazing!

Katie's POV:

I woke up Luke was there. We were in a hospital. We started talking. He kissed me. He really was the best. Why didn't I see it before. I was so thankful for him.

"What happened. Never mind" I said before he could tell me. The memories were flooding back to me like a waterfall. I hate Jake!

"Katie?" I looked at him. "Jakes, missing." My heart stopped.
