Complicated Love

Chapter 3

I woke up to someone kissing me. I started to kiss back thinking it was Luke. We pulled apart. The kiss felt different. Like how it felt when Jake kissed me.

"OH MY GOSH!" I gasped when I opened my eyes. IT WAS JAKE! How doped he find me? And why?

"Hey baby. I brought you breakfast." He said going in for another kiss. I shoved him away.

"What's going on? Why are you here?" I demanded. Then I got kinda scared. I've never talked to him that way. What has gotten into me?

"I realized that I can't loose you. You're to special to me. And I know you miss me." He said putting his hand my upper thigh.

"Actually no. I don't! In fact. I don't know why I dated you in the first place!" I said with a laugh. He laughed then kissed me again. I shoved him off. I couldn't date him again. I just can't go through any of that again.

"Is it hot in here?" He said taking off his shirt. My mouth dropped. I didn't know he had a 6 pack! I looked at him in shock.

"Okay. I'll make you a deal. If you promise not to hurt me in any way, shape, or form. I'll give you a second chance." His eyes lit up. "But! Do not expect me to be all lovey towards you. You have to earn that."

"I promise." He said. He looked like he actually meant it. I took a chance, I got up and grabbed his hand.

"Lets go home." I looked at him and he smiled. He kissed me. It didn't feel amazing like Luke's but it was okay.

Then I thought about Luke.

I'll write him a note I thought to myself.

Luke,

I'm going back to high school. You know what. No, I'm not. Luke you're to good for this. You deserve the truth. I'm getting back together win Jake. He's promised not to hurt me in any way, shape, or form. That includes mentally hurt me also. I'm so sorry Luke. But Jake is my babe. And every relationship has its flaws right? Well hopefully like he said Jake is willing to try and fix them. I'm sorry you have to find out about this through a note. I just don't have the heart to tell you in person. If I told you in person. I would brake down. And you would probably hate me forever.

I finished writing the note when Ashton came in.

"Hey, no no no. Please tell me you aren't back toget-"

"Together win Jake? Yeah I am." I said cutting him off. "If you wanna know the reason read the letter I wrote Luke."

"Well that just ruined that." He murmured. Except I heard him.

"Ruined what?" I asked him curious.

"Well. I was coming to ask you to be my girlfriend since you and Luke are over b--"

"What do you mean by that? Nobody knew I was doing this. Hell! I didn't even know I was gonna do this. Until Jake woke me up with a kiss and breakfast." Ashton looked at me dumbfounded.

"You don't know?" He asked not believing it.

"What am I supposed to know that I don't know?" I asked him getting aggravated.

"Luke told me last night at the party when he came out of the bedroom with that girl that you and him were done. That you told him you didn't like him like that. So he was angry and depressed. So he came to the party with us. And looks like everyone got some but me!" He said looking away.

Then Luke came in.....

"Hey bab--" he stopped his sentence when he saw Ashton, and the look on my face. "Hey Ashton. What are you doing here? I bought you were with that girl you did last night?" Ashton looked at him furious.

"YOU MEAN THE GIRL YOU DID!" Ashton screamed at me.

"Ashton what are you talking about?" He asked glancing at me. I crossed me arms against my chest.

"I'm here telling her what you didn't have the balls to do. Yeah Luke. She really rejected you huh?!" He said leaving the room. Luke looked at me.

"I seriously have no idea what that wa--" I looked at him.

"Save it! I don't need anymore lies." I picked up the note. I wrinkled it and threw it I. The trash. "And to think I was gonna cry over you, now. I'm just gonna cry about what you did!" I yelled and left the room. I turned around I saw him pick up the note. I waited for his reaction. He sat down on the bed. He started to look my way. I hid behind the other side of the wall. I checked to see if he was looking. When he wasn't. I slipped outside. Except he did see me. I got in Jakes car the. I looked at him. "No. Nope. Not gonna go down this path again." I said out loud.

"What do you mean babe?" I looked at him.

"Why don't you find a lying no good dangerous, mean, hurtful person like yourself!" I got out and went into the house. Ashton was there waiting for me.

"I wondered how long it would take you." He said wrapping his arm around me. We got in his car an were off to his house.
