Reality Check

"Unnie wake up~" Sunhee is shaking me to wake up. I shake her off and bring the blanket closer to me.

"Don't bother me the plane ride left me jetlag. Let me know when we have to go to rehearsal."

I turn away from her looking out the window. We are finally in the big city. I could see the Empire state building from here. It was beautiful and at night it was even more amazing.

"First of all the concert isn't today. Second of all, you aren't planning to go out and you know shop?"

I could already visualize Sunhee's pout. I knew that if I turned around I would not be able to resist myself.

"Unnie~~"

"UGH!" I turned around and saw her doggy eyes and pout, "Please~"

I squirmed in my bed and sat up, "Fineee give me 20 minutes I have to get ready."

She smiles and heads towards the door shouting, "She's coming!"

I yawn standing up and heading towards the bathroom I look at the mirror and saw what 12 hours on a plane ride did to a teenage girl who has barely gotten any sleep.

"I can't believe I look like that." I point to myself in the mirror and washed up.

I head back to the room and see clothes already laid out on my bed.

Sigh. I guess they want me to have the New York Chic look.

I throw on the clothes and fix my hair as best I can knowing that I am still half awake.

Buzz. Buzz.

"Hey, baby. I just got back from hanging out with your brothers. It's like 1 am here. I handled what you told me. I decided to do it as soon as possible to make sure everything was ready. You will probably be hearing about it later today. Love you and take care. I'm going to sleep which is something I've been dying to do."

I giggle to myself. Classic Yoongi. I'm happy he at least already handled this now I have to wait. I miss him so much. I bring the phone to my chest.

I love you too.

I felt the hot tear come down my cheek. Gosh. I can't believe I'm crying over a text what happened to the tough y/n.

I wipe off the tear and text him, "Thank you. Make sure you sleep you've done so much. I love you."

And sent. I look back at the mirror.

"Gosh, you've changed so much. But I'm proud of you."

I hear a knock on the door and Heejin walks in, "Yo, everyone is waiting for you. I thought you fell for one of my pranks or something."

I laugh and ruffle her hair, "I'll have you know I am older."

"Unnie? Is that what you wanted me to say." She laughed and linked her arm to mine, "I'm so glad you're our leader."

"Uh-oh, that sounds like y/n I want something for you."

"Welllll if I have to say I was wondering if you can talk to Beomgyu."

"What happened?"

"We got into a fight."

"A fight or argument?"

"I don't even know we aren't even dating and yet I joked about Xu flirting with me to see how he would react and he got upset by it."

I laugh as we take the elevator down to the lobby.

"Well, Beomgyu is probably trying to find out who Xu is."

She sighs fidgeting her fingers I grab them and smile, "He already likes you he won't get upset over one thing. But I will talk to him."
