Together

I was released from the hospital after a week. The doctors say that I have been improving so much that I can do the rest at the dorms.

Bomin and Hyun Joon came to visit me at the hospital but like always they couldn't stay long. Mom told them that if I had died that they would've starved to death. I guess it's true...maybe that's why I chose to live.

The one person I haven't seen since that day is Yoongi. Manger-nim said he's been locked in ever since. The guys also don't know much about him. He comes back to the dorms around after midnight but leaves early in the morning. I wanna say I miss him but we've been so busy that I can't even think about anything.

"I know you must feel rush y/n but the first thing to do is hit the studio. Everyone thinks that since you went through amnesia you can't sing. As if those things relate."

Manager-nim was ranting about inside the car. Scrolling through his phone I noticed the articles:

Will Dreamlike leader be the same?

Can Dreamlike leader sing again?

"Sooo I guess we are going to prove them wrong?"

"Precisely. Bang PD already has the perfect idea."

"What is it?"

"Doing a cover of any song you choose but not with your whole team only three of them."

"Wait. So you are saying to leave one of my members out? I can't do that. I can't choose."

"You don't have to Bang PD already chose."

"You don't say" I roll my eyes "Did he also decided on the song."

"No. He just wants the best for your group. I wouldn't have approved if I didn't like his idea. The people you will sing with are Yuju, Sunhee, and Heejin. Doyeon didn't mind and she also has something else up her hands to promote Dreamlike."

I stayed quiet as we approached the building. The girls were probably in the studio already but what I wanted to do was see Yoongi.

"I assumed that you might've been feeling down still so I had someone special wait outside for you."

He pulls to the corner and there I see Beomgyu. His presence lifts up my whole mood and makes me smile.

"Beomgyu!"

"Noona!"

I ran to him and hugged him. Tears of joy started falling down my cheek. I have so many questions to ask him that I don't even know where to begin.

"I'll take her to the booth the girls are already there."

Beomgyu already grabbed my hand and dragged me inside the building.

"Noona I want to take you somewhere I know you are dying to go."

"You aren't.."

"Oh yes, I am."

We walk up the stairs and see the huge letters GENIUS. I was in this room previously I remember that. I remember being in this room many times not just once. Through the door, I can hear the sound of beats playing. The sound of humming, rapping, even the tapping of a pencil on a table.

"Is he in there?"

"Yeah. But don't try opening the door it's locked every time he walks in."

I turn the knob but it doesn't budge all I hear from the other side is "Leave."

"That's the only phrase he says when someone tries to open the door."

I feel so hopeless. The person I like is right behind this door but it feels as if they are a whole galaxy away.

"Let's get to the studio."

Walking in I saw Heejin Sunhee and Yuju sitting on the couch reading over the lyrics.

"Unnie you're here!" Sunhee hugs me as Heejin decides to join. I wrap my arms around them both and notice Yuju standing to one side.

"Aren't you going to hug me?" I look at her as Sunhee and Heejin hide behind Beomgyu.

She stands there staring and observing, "Y/n I actually did miss you." she goes and hugs me wrapping her arms around me.

"I hate to interrupt especially since this is such a lovely scene but Bang PD actually wants to finish this song as soon as possible. We will start with Heejin and Sunhee since they still have to go to school after this."

Heejin and Sunhee go inside the booth and start warming up before singing. Beomgyu works his magic inside the studio working with the machine before us. He is able to make their voices echo through the whole studio. When they were done Beomgyu ushered Yuju inside immediately.

"I don't, I don't wanna wake up My staff is an alarm breaker We're swimming through space We'll be the tail end of a constellation and bungee It's okay, don't be afraid We'll be with you"

Her last words hit me harder than anything. She looked at me as she said these words and smiled towards me nodding.

"Alright, Yuju-noona that was perfect this cover is going to be a hit. Y/n it's your turn."

I'm worried. What if I can't be the same as everyone else. What if I actually forgot how to sing.

I walk inside the booth and see through the window Beomgyu. Yuju said she was going to meet Doyeon to make sure she is alright. It was only the two of us.

"Noona you'll be alright just go with the flow."

I look at the paper one last time to fully grasp the rap. Closing my eyes I let myself sink into the music.

In those times, when tears come

In the hidden platform of 9 and 3/4
We can only get through if we're together

When I opened my eyes I saw him. Right behind the window he was standing there staring at me. His lips curved into a smile and I smiled.

"Y/n I'll finish the rest someone is here to see you." Beomgyu spoke inside the speaker and placed two thumbs up.

Yoongi walked in and placed his arms around my waist. Pulling me closer he stared into my eyes, "You're back."
