Chapter 1

   Maya walked back outside to her husband and their friend with a tea kettle and a few cups in her hand.
    Once she got outside, she noticed her little ones were chasing after a butterfly.
  Maya smiled at the two, hating the fact that her babies would ve grown adults in no time.
   Maya walked to where her husband, Ray was talking to her friend, Doctor Saunders.
"So, Saunders, how was your day so far?" Ray asked, grabbing a cup Maya was giving him.
"Its been great. Its nice to see your kids playing." Saunders said, looking at the two looking at the butterfly that the oldest, Kaiden, Kai for short, was holding for May to see.
  "It is, they get along so well. Also this morning, they played a prank on us. Kai woke up really early just to wake up Nya and wake us up by jumping on us. Funny thing is, Nya accidentally hit Ray in the stomach." Maya said, smiling at the memory.
  Ray chuckled and Saunders laugh.
"Nya balled because she thought I was mad at her. Kai helped her calm down." Ray said, watching the two, making sure they didnt run off.
Kai loved to run off, especially in town. Thats how Kai got his scare over his eye.
     Kai ran off and ran into the wrong people and he got hurt, badly, but luckily, he didn't go blind in his eye.
    
Maya picked up the kettle and cups sicne they were done, for them to only get smacked out of her hand.
  Maya looked at Saunders, who pulled off his mustache, revealing he was Krux.
   "Krux, what do you want?" Ray asked, getting in front of Maya.
   Krux smiled.
"I want your help... And if you dont help, well... Your precious kids wont see Kais 6th birthday. Or i can take them and you can just live your lives. Choose wisely..." Krux said.
  Maya gasped.
"You cant do that, they're only kids!" Maya exclaimed, looking at the kids.
   "Well, its either you or them..." Krux threatened.
Maya and Ray looked at eachother. They didn't want to help, but they also didn't want their kids the leave with a villain.
They were stuck and with a timer.
"Tick tock... I dont have all day..." Krux said, impatient.
   Maya sighed.
"You wont hurt them...?" Maya asked, causing Ray to look at her.
  Krux smiled.
"I won't, only if You dont tell Wu or Garmadon... Ill keep them safe. But of course, they will have to help me..." Krux said.
  "Wait.. Maya you cant be serious... Are you sure?" Ray asked, shocked that Maya would give their kids away.
   Maya nodded at Ray, knowing soon that he would catch on.
"Alright.. We won't tell Wu or Garmadon. Just dont hurt them... Please..." Maya said.
Krux nodded.
"Alright, lets get a move on now..." Krux said.
  Maya and Ray looked at eachother, and then Maya looked at the two kids.
   Maya walked to the kids.
"Momma!" Both Kai and Nya yelled once they saw Maya.
Maya smiled sadly.
  "Hey you two... Me and your dad have to go on a mission, we want you two to go with Saunders. He will take care of you. Alright? Can you do that for me and not make it too tough on him?" Maya asked, crouching down to their level.
  Kai and Nya nodded.
  Maya nodded.
"Alright, lets get you ready to go alright." Maya said, getting up abd leading the two inside to get their things, which wasn't much.
   
  After a few minutes, they said their goodbyes and started walking.
    Maya watched as they left, starting to cry.
   Ray looked at Maya and went to hug her. "We will see them again in awhile... I promise..." Ray whispered.
 
 
   Maya woke up. It's been 11 years since that day.
    Maya got up and walked to the forge to see Ray working.
   Ray looked at Maya as she walked to him.
"Good morning." Ray said.
  "Good morning...." Maya said.
Ray knew something was wrong.
"Was it that dream again...?" Ray asked, putting down the sword he just finished.
  Maya nodded slowly.
  Ray frowned a bit.
  Ray was gonna walk forward towards her, until he saw people walking toward their house.
   Ray went to go see who they were, until he saw his old friend.
  "Well.. .well. Well... Wu! Good to see you." Ray said, walking outside to see Wu walking with three others.
   "Hello Ray. Its been awhile. How have you been?" Wu asked, walking up to Ray.
    Maya walked out and stood next to Ray.
  "Hello Wu. Its be alright. How are you? What brings you here?...." Maya said, seeing Wu.
  Wu nodded.
"Hello Maya. The past few years have been alright. Im here for you two. Ive just gotten the ninjas together." Wu said, pointing to the three behind him.
  Wu turned around and looked at each one of them. "Cole, master do earth. Jay, master of Lighting. And Zane, master of ice." Wu said, introducing each one.
   They all waved.
"Ninja, this is Maya and Ray, the masters of Fire and water." Wu said.
Ray and Maya waved back.
     "Wait.. Why do you need us?" Ray asked.
  Wu turned to look at Ray and Maya.
"I need you to join. I know your kids went missing awhile ago when they were young. But we don't have the fire or the water master. So we need you.." Wu said.
Maya nodded. She forgot she told Wu and the others that the kids went missing, but actually were taken.
"Wait... You had kids that went missing?" Jay pitched in.
  Maya and Ray nodded.
"That's sad. Sorry that you had to go through with that..." Cole said.
  Maya nodded.
"They were wonderful.. Just.. One day while they were outside, they went missing... " Maya said.
  Ray nodded.
"Im truly sorry for you." Zane, the last one, said.
  Wu nodded.
"Alright, we'll join." Ray said and Maya nodded.
"Great." Wu said.
