Chapter 2

      (I'm staying that Cole's powers came from his grandfather and missed a generation -)

Maya watched as the four ninja trained with each other, Jay and Cole and Zane and Lloyd. As she looked at each one and watched their fighting styles, she realized that they were just like their parents or grandparents fighting styles or they way they act. 

  Cole was just like his grandfather, his way of fighting was down to earth. He's leader skills were just the same.

 Jay was just like his mother, Mayas best friend or sister for that matter, Clara. She and her son were alike in so many ways. When Maya first met Jay, she knew instantly that Jay was Clara's son. Not just the way he fights, which is filled with energetic moves, but in the way he talked, or when he got flustered, or when he stuttered. Clara did the same thing, she stuttered, got flustered, and she was really talkative. 

  Zane, on the other hand, who's a robot, was different than the old elemental master.

Lloyd was just like his father. Garmadon and Maya got along pretty well, but they ones who didn't get along with Garmadon was Ray. They are best friends, but they still had their arguments. Maya bet that if Kai  was here, he and Lloyd would be basically brothers. Maya frowned at that thought. 

  Maya wished she never thought that option in the first place. She misses them, its been 14 years since that day. She knew that Krux would show up soon, she just didn't know when, but she knew that Wu knew when both the twins would show up.... Which means that Kai and Nya would also be there.

  Ray walked out with Wu, having a conversation about when the next mission will come up. He looked over and saw his wife lost in thought. "Maya?"Ray asked, walking up to her. Maya turned and looked at Ray. "Yeah?" Maya asked, looking back at the training ninja. Ray looked at Wu and then back at Maya. "You alright?" Ray asked. Maya nodded. 

   "Just thinking about the twins... " Maya said, looking at Ray and Wu. " Kai and Nya too?" Wu asked. Maya nodded after a few seconds of silence. "Well,  Acronix should be here in an hour... I'll have to go to the monastery." Wu said, looking at the ninja. Maya nodded. She didn't expect that they twins would show up around now.  "I want the ninja to go to the Museum. They need help there. And it will distract them and I'll be able to go to the monastery. Ray, Maya, I want you guys to go with the ninja to the museum and stay there." Wu instructed. Maya and Ray shared a look. "Are you sure that you want to go alone?" Ray asked. Wu nodded. Maya knew that Wu wonted to go alone, so if that's what he wants, then let him do that. But... with Ray being stubborn, hes gonna try to go with him.  "Wu, let one of us go with you. If you go alone, and something bad happens, then no one will be there to help."Ray said, looking at Maya and then back at Wu. Wu sighed, and that sigh let Maya know that there's gonna be bantering back and forth until Ray gets what he wants.

  Maya walked away and went to the ninja who were taking a break. "Hey boys, Sensei Wu wants you guys to head to the museum and wants me to go with you guys." Maya said, not including Ray because she knows that Ray will get to go with Wu. Cole and the others turn towards Maya. "Why does he want us to go there?" Cole asked, looking at the others and then back at Maya. "Maybe because of what happened on the day of the departed. " Jay said, smirking at Cole, who glared back at him. Maya giggled, they reminded her of Clara and Cole's grandfather. " They need help cleaning up." Maya said, answering Cole's question. They all nodded and after a few minutes if getting ready to go, they left to go to the museum.

    As Maya and the ninja head to the museum and Misako, Dareth and Ronin where still at the temple, Wu and Ray headed to the monastery.

    Once Wu and Ray got to the monastery, they mediating, waiting for Acronix to show up.

The ninja and Maya got to the museum and went to see what they needed help with. Jay just thought they needed to clean up the floors or the rooms, no... they need to clean up the villains hall and they needed to fix up they place since they caused the damage.

 "This is boring... Why do we have to do this? I mean, Cole's the one who caused all that trouble on day of the departed... "Jay said, complaining and grabbing things and throwing them, which were caught by Zane. "Okay, its not all my fault, you guys shouldn't have left me. "Cole argued, glaring at Jay, who didn't even notice it. Maya ignored them and walked away, only being noticed by Lloyd and Zane, the others starting to argue. Maya walked down the hall and opened the door. She looked around the room and noticed a picture in the corner. She walked to it and she was correct. It was a picture of her and Ray in front of their shop. 

  "Is that you and Ray?" Maya heard a voice behind her, causing her to turn around and see it was Lloyd. "Yep, back when we worked at the shop. I think... We just had our oldest son a few months before this." Maya said, looking back the picture. Lloyd nodded, he didn't know what it felt like when our own kid went missing, but he knows it hurts a lot. "How many kids did you have exactly?" Lloyd asked. "Oh.. Two. Their names were Kai and Nya. Kai being the oldest by two years." Maya said, smiling at Lloyd. "What were they like?" Lloyd asked .Maya chuckled at how curious the boy was.

(Time for my ideas-)

"Kai was just like Ray. He was stubborn and would get mad when something like wanting to go to town with me. He also would never go to bed if Ray was trying to get him to sleep. He never really wanted to listen to Ray now that I think of it. Nya, on the other hand, was like me, she was calm at some points, but if someone like Kai was getting picked on, she was a monster. I remember this one day, Ray went to mess with Kai and while they were messing around, Kai accidentally got hit on the head. Of course he cried since he was only four, and Nya attacked Ray in attempt to get back at him for hurting Kai. The whole thing ended up with Ray on the floor with Nya smiling victoriously and Kai still crying but laughing. Those two together alone with each other is a problem waiting to happen. Especially when they have a babysitter... " Maya said, remembering when she and Ray came home to a house with no babysitter and the kids on the couch, sleeping together. Lloyd laughed. "At first, it sounded like they were angels, but I guess they were just devils in disguise." Lloyd said, smiling. Maya laughed a bit at that.

 After a few moments of talking, Cole called for them. Maya and Lloyd walked over to see what Cole was pointing to.

 It was the picture of the fight with the twins. "What picture is this?" Cole asked. "Well, there's my dad and uncle Wu, so this must be in the past. All the old elemental masters are in this, all but... I think, you and Ray." Lloyd said, pointing at the picture and then looking at Maya. "Do you have any idea what this is about?" Zane asked. Maya stared at the picture. "No... Me and Ray weren't there for it, or around for it." Maya said. 

"That painting is just a myth." 

The ninja and Maya look at who talked, and saw a person. Once Maya laid her eyes on him, she wished she didn't go to the museum. "Hello, I'm Doctor Saunders. It's nice to meet you all." Doctor Saunders said, walking up to the ninja, finally seeing Maya. "Is that the old water master? Wow.. it's been awhile? Hasn't it been Maya?" Dr S. asked, smiling at Maya, who just stared at him. "Wait Maya, you know him?" Lloyd asked. "Yes, I know him, and it has been awhile." Maya said, smiling at Dr S. Lloyd nodded.

 After a few minutes of talking, the ninja and Maya left the museum. At once second, they were leaving and then the next second, they were at the Bounty.

 Misako was walking to a room and Ronin was with Dareth. The next second, Misako was holding a tea kettle. She looked around and saw that she was in the same room with Dareth being on top of Ronin. "Get off me! And... What just happened?" Ronin asked, looking at Misako. "I don't know..."Misako said.

   As the ninja and Maya somehow teleported to the bounty, the alarm went off. The noise was blaring in their ears. "Someone turn it off!" Jay yelled, and right when he said off, Maya hit a button. "Oh, thank you." Jay said. "What was that?" Lloyd asked. Maya gulped, knowing the Acronix had finally arrived.

   Ray and Wu felt the time switch and looked up to see someone. "Well, Well, Well... isn't it Wu and Ray?" Acronix asked, smirking.
