Chapter 3

LONG CHAPTER... deal with it-

           Lloyd started typing in the computer, trying to figure out what happened. Apparently, there was a time flip/ switch that caused them to go one minute faster. "There's something happening at the old monastery. There's fighting going on." Lloyd announced, looking at the map on the screen. "Should we go check it out?" Jay asked, looking at everyone. "We should go. If its someone bad, then we need to stop them." Cole said, looking at Lloyd. "Alright, I'll set a way point there. We should be there in 5 minutes." Lloyd said, typing on the keyboard.

As they were on their way there, Maya couldn't help think that the next mission is gonna come at any moment soon. She couldn't help think that if her kids are still alive, then she might see them. Maya didn't know how to feel about that. She lied to her kids, making them think their parents are going on a mission and were killed instead of their parents giving them away to a villain by their own choice. Maya knew that if they found out that happened, they probably won't be happy about it.... but... of course, only if they are still alive.

Maya was cut out of her thoughts when Lloyd announced they were arriving at the monastery. "Everyone, get ready. It seems there are people fighting." Lloyd said, looking at the monastery. Maya looked closer and saw Wu and Ray fighting someone and that someone is Acronix. "Is that Sensei and Ray?" Cole asked, looking closer. Lloyd, Zane, and Jay looked and indeed it was them. "We got to help them." Cole said. When they got over the monastery, they jumped over and landed on the ground.

"Well, isn't it Maya? Seems you and Wu still work together." Maya looked at where the voice was coming from and saw it was Acronix. "Of course, Wu is my good friend. Hello Acronix." Maya said, getting into a fighting pose. "How have you been? How's your child? Obviously you had the kid." Acronix asked, looking at Ray and Maya. "That's none of your concern...." Ray said. "Wait, you all know who that is?" Lloyd asked. "Oh, I apologize, I am Acronix. I know these three from back when the serpentine wars were happening." Acronix said, looking at Lloyd and the other three ninja.

Time skip cuz I ain't good at righting fight scenes-

Maya and Ray looked at each other. They both know that the four are gonna question who and how Acronix was there. "Alright, what just happened?" Lloyd asked, looking at Maya and Ray. He would of asked Wu but he was resting. Maya looked back at Ray. "Alright, but we should wait until Wu is awake. He needs to explain some of it." Maya said, looking at the room Wu is in at the moment. Lloyd looked at the room and nodded. "But... I want to know now.." Jay whined. Ray rolled his eyes. "We already said that we are gonna wait until Wu is awake." Ray said. Jay sighed and nodded. "Why don't you guys go train? We will get you guys when Wu awakes up." Misako said, looking at the boys. They nodded and left to go train. Misako left to go check on Wu, while Maya and Ray stayed in the room they were in now.

Maya sighed, causing Ray to look at her. "You alright?" Ray asked. Maya shook her head and walked towards a window, looking out it and looking as the boys messed around and trained. "Is it about the twins and the other two?" Ray asked, walking up to Maya, also looking out the window. Maya slowly nodded. "I know it hurts and I know we might see them, but we don't know that yet. We don't even know if they are alive still. Krux could of gotten rid of them awhile ago." Ray said. Maya didn't want to think about, but those thoughts just plagued her mind for years. She just had a feeling that she would see them again, but in years. "I know, but I just... having a feeling in my gut that I'm gonna see them sometime soon." Maya said, rubbing her head. Ray frowned. "I know you miss them. I do too, but we need to focus on the twins first." Ray said. Maya nodded.

Misako walked out after a few minutes of silence. "He's awake." Ray nodded and left to go get the boys. Maya and Misako walked into the room and saw Wu sitting on the bed.
