~Hunter~
Her beautiful face lit up as she smiled, a face that I would recognise anywhere because she was my mate. But something about her wasn't right and all of a sudden she was standing next to a woman I knew this woman she was Queen Avara the ruler of Faalein, the city of lights. Avara has been Queen for about two centuries and has only had one child, a daughter, about seventeen years ago, but in the last seventeen years Avara's daughter had gone missing so now Avara morns the loss of her child. But looking at Avara and Asta next to each other they looked so similar their eyes and hair were the same but Asta had the more delicate face. They looked like they could have been family.

My eyes opened and instantly adjusted to the early morning sun seeping through the windows. Asta was still curled up at my side her head laying on my stomach. She looked so peaceful in her sleep as if there were no worries in the world. I was about to wake her when she jolted and shot upright her eyes wide and shocked her hair still messy from sleeping.
"What's wrong", I asked quietly
"Just a bad dream", I could here the lie on her tongue but I didn't push.
She looked at me and smiled I had only met her three days ago, yet it felt like I'd know her forever.
The dream still pulled at me and I needed answers but right now that could wait.
I looked down at Asts's naked body and I was set.

We stayed in bed for ages until Asta stood up and walked to the small white closet in the corner of the room.
"We need food", she said and pulled out one of my shirts.
It was so big on her that it came to just above the knees when she put it on, and I looked at her with male satisfaction because she was wearing my shirt. So I stood put on my shorts, wrapped my arm around Asta, and we went to get food.

We were sat at the dinning room table eating toast and eggs when we heard it.
All of a sudden the door opened reveling a tall blond woman with hair that barely brushed her shoulders, beautiful pale blue wings and a blue dress hugging close to her curves.
"Hello Mikayla", I said as the blonde walked over to the table.
"Hi, you must be Asta", she chirped towards my mate.
Asta looked confused and worried about who this female was.
"Asta this her is my twin sister, Mikayla, although we look nothing alike and she is much more annoying and talks way too much", I explained giving a pointed look at my sister.
The worried look immediately disappeared from my mates face.
"Yes, umm you're really pretty", my mate stammered answering Mikayla's previous question.
"Awwe thank you, you're so sweet" said Mikayla smiling so much it made my face hurt.

~Asta~
Mikayla was so pretty. I felt so dull looking compared to her, she was like a goddess. Her deep blue eyes were pretty at first glance but if you looked closely it was like a beautiful river, she also had pale blue wings edged in silver and blonde hair that barely came to her shoulders.
She looked at me with a confused expression on her face.
"You look oddly familiar", she whispered softly, more speaking to herself than us.
Mikayla looked to her brother and a silent conversation crossed between them.
"Do you remember your mother, Asta", she asked me.
I shuddered I had never had a mother or father growing up, which is why I usually kept to myself most if the time, but why was Mikayla asking me this question.
"I've never know either of my parents", I whisper but I know that they can hear me.
"I have to find something", Mikayla said as if that was all the explanation we needed.
Suddenly she winnowed and hunter and I were sitting alone again.
"You'll get used to her", he chuckled and resumed eating his eggs.
"Why did she ask if I remembered my mother?", I asked suddenly not feeling hungry.
Hunter pursed his lips in concentration, thing of what to say to me.
"Well Mikayla thinks that she might know who your mother is but she didn't want to get your hopes up", he said quietly.
"Did she tell you who she think it is", I asked casually.
"No" he said quickly.
I knew he was lying but I didn't push so I got up, put my half eaten eggs in the bin and went to his room.
My mind was a jumbled mess what if Mikayla actually found out who my mother was, what would that mean.
I sat there quietly asking myself questions I didn't know the answer to, when Hunter rushed in.
I looked at him and his face was showing a mixture of worry and panic.
"I need you to hide right now", he whispered loudly.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, I quickly hid under his bed making sure that I was as quiet as possible.
"I know your in here Hunter so don't even bother hiding", a voice yelled and the person sounded angry.
"I'll be out in a minute", he said in a shaky voice.
"Be quiet and don't come out till I say so", he whispered to me and left.
