Hogwarts Reunion- Dramione {SLOW UPDATES}

Chapter 9

          "Shut up" Hermione whispered as she stopped walking abruptly.

"We're literally in the Forbidden Forest searching for a bunch of big ass spiders and you want me to shut up?!" Pansy hissed back at her.

"No, i'm serious, I hear something."

Ginny and Hermione pulled out their wands and started walking towards the noise.

"Come on, Pans," Ginny whispered.

"Ugh, Gryffindors." Pansy huffed and sulkily followed them.

They finally came across a trembling bush and pointed their wands at it. 

"Reducto!" Pansy thought.

An orange blast of light exited the tip of her wand and hit the bush. A muffled squawk was heard before a crow flew into the night sky.

They all sighed and tucked away their wands.

"False alarm" Ginny whispered

"That's not a good thing" Hermione muttered

"wait why?" Pansy and Ginny whispered simultaneously.

"Because, now the only place to go is Mosag's nest." Hermione said.

The women started walking deeper and deeper into the forest, unaware of the shaking bushes behind them. They reached a small clearing, and Ginny paused to tie her shoe. It was a good thing they had had the sense to transfigure their heels into sneakers.

Pansy felt the hair on her neck suddenly stand up. She paused and listened for a second.

"Do you hear that?" She whispered fearfully.

"What?" Hermione asked as she looked over at Pansy.

Her question was soon answered as a low growl filled the air.

Hermione grabbed the other two's arms and they stood back to back with their wands raised.

"Um, guys? Look up." Ginny hissed quietly.

Hermione and Pansy whipped their heads toward the sky.

"It's a full moon," Pansy breathed.

'Shit, RUN" Hermione whisper-shouted.

The three sprinted out of the clearing and into the forest, swearing.

They could hear the werewolf crashing through the trees behind them, and ran faster, until the noise suddenly stopped. In fact, it was completely silent, which was unusual.

"What's happening," Ginny whispered.

Hermione looked around and realized there were standing in an even bigger clearing, with a cave at the far side. There were webs everywhere.

"We're here" she breathed

The three spotted a dead acromantula on the left side of the area, and quickly crept over to the corpse. Hermione conjured a vial and filled it with the venom. She corked it and they slowly started heading back, being as quiet as they could. 

They had just reached the path they came in from when the heard a clacking noise.

The three slowly turned their heads, wincing. 

A small acromantula was looking at them with all eight eyes. It tilted its head and stared.

"Niiice spider," Hermione whispered.

The arachnid opened its mandibles and roared.

"I didn't know spiders could roar," Ginny mumbled.

The ground started quaking as a huge, long, hairy leg emerged from the cave.

The girls watched in fear as the rest of the spider appeared. A squeak came out of Pansy's mouth. She was bigger than Aragog, her late husband. She had to be the size of a large elephant.

The female spider cocked her head and spoke.

"Hello."

"Hi," Hermione said, trembling in fear. She put her hand out and walked forward slowly.    "Your name is Mosag, right?

"Correct," Mosag replied coolly.

"We just needed to get some acromantula venom, we're not here to hurt anyone. There's something happening at the school, at Hogwarts." Hermione said shakily.

One of the larger spiders clacked their mandibles and hissed. Mosag hissed back and they both nodded.

"My son tells me that one of you killed that one." Mosag said calmly, gesturing toward the corpse at the side of the clearing.

"What, no! We haven't hurt anyone." Hermione said, confused.

The ground shook again as Mosag took at a step forward and leaned down to Hermione. She clacked her mandibles and hissed.

"You're lying"

"No, I promise I'm not." Hermione said.

The spider huffed and took another step.

"Well, someone has to pay for my child's murder."

The three women looked at each other with wide eyes.

"Get them" Mosag hissed.

Hermione, Pansy, and Ginny screamed and ran out of the clearing.

"Shit, shit, shit," Hermione muttered as she jumped over tree roots. They looked back, only to see a wave of large spiders crawling after them.

After running for felt like hours, they finally emerged onto Hogwarts grounds.

They  collapsed on the ground and caught their breath.

"I'm never doing that again," Pansy sulked.

"Yea, me neither," Hermione and Ginny said together.

Hermione pulled the venom out of her pocket and wrapped her fingers around the vial.

They stood up and started walking across the school grounds determinedly.

"Let's do this."
